Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Were his actions at a candlelight vigil appropriate? Justifiable?

He should have stayed away. He knew what he was walking into. Does that make it right? No, but don’t poke a hornets nest.
He was stupid. His words and actions were completely out of line.

If you continually poke a hornets nest, you probably will end up getting stung.

Was Terry getting hi ass handed to him a good thing?
Appropriate?
Justifiable?
Doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.

That's what's coming. Conservatives are tired of being labeled with nonsense slurs and having our leaders shot at. We are tired of being disrespected and having our Faith ridiculed. Push anyone far enough, and you will eventually find out.

Clearly, however, a huge part of the problem is that so many people see only one point of view, and SM isn't set up to challenge that.

I will say as well, it seems to me that a lot of the problem is youth. They get so much of their news and opinion from social media that they have no perspective. Older people understand that there are other points of view and that they have been wrong in the past and so they are more tolerant of other points of view and willing to consider them. Young people today get amped up by that one point they see over and over.

How about tik tok or facebook.or whatever the hip ones are have their algorithms from time to time say, "Hey, consider this other view point. Make up your own mind, but be broadminded,."
I would argue the youth actually has a more open perspective. They’re shifting away from the norms. Just look how much of the young vote shifted from Biden to Trump. They love listening to podcasts where it’s two people with opposite view points talking. Old people are rooted in their ways and social media seems to make it worse for them, it seems half can’t even tell the difference between what’s real and what’s fake

I would agree they could adjust the algorithm and make it where it’s less of an echo chamber

There are some major stretches in your provided talking points list.

Show me anything that ties the Minnesota shooter to Trump besides “claims”. Or the homeless drug addict who attacked the Pelosi’s. In all of the stated liberal attack cases the distinction is clear and intended. BTW, show me one conservative person who is ok with drug using homeless people roaming the streets just because they vote republican. Good grief.

You guys are so good at gaslighting you have completely gaslighted yourselves in the process. It’s amazing.
"David DePape spoke for more than an hour in which he tearfully recounted about how his political leanings went from leftist to right-wing after reading a comment on a YouTube video about former President Donald Trump"

i suggest that when people stop themselves from saying something that could get themselves in trouble for saying it online, they should also reflect on if that is the person they wish to be

Wow. Go on X and do a search for “fired”. I think the sheer number of sick libs being fired today for their gleeful statements on Charlie Kirk might just cause the unemployment rate to tick upward s.
the disgusting thing is how many of them are “educators”
The FO phase has begun

Carolina Panthers Fire Employee for Disgustingly Mocking Charlie Kirk Assassination in insensitive posts

The Carolina Panthers have reportedly fired a junior employee over insensitive posts he made regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk.

According to the Charlotte Observer's Scott Fowler, Charlie Rock - who worked as the Panthers' Football Communications Coordinator - has been dismissed by the team over the alleged posts on Instagram.

Images circulating on social media appear to show that Rock shared a video of Kirk saying 'it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year' in order to protect Second Amendment rights, before adding his own comment.

He allegedly wrote alongside it: 'Why are yall sad? Your man said it was worth it...'

Another screenshot also shows Rock's Instagram account allegedly posting the song 'Protect Ya Neck' by the Wu-Tang Clan after Kirk was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday.

Lolz he majored in Crisis Management

The University at Albany graduate, who earned a Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management, previously worked as a football communications associate for the Chicago Bears, a football PR intern for the Los Angeles Rams and as PR staff for the College Football National Championship.

I suggest you either are retired living comfortably or upper class. A middle class family that loses an income due to an angry post can be detrimental... it's simply not worth it. No matter how mad you want to let people on Volnation know you are. I'd rather look out for a brother than lead them towards trouble. In the end, I'd reckon 75-80 percent of us here are feeling the same my Ape friend.
