Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Way different situation now compared to 1996. Think about cell phone tracking, cameras everywhere and the forensics that have come leaps and bounds in 30 years.

I saw a press release from the Task Force that said they got the suspect on a Ring camera in the neighborhood. Something impossible even 10 yards ago, but routine today.
Now that his picture has been released, people will come forward with cellphone pictures and videos. Happened with the Boston bombers too.

I'm not sure how you got that from what I said. I'm certainly guilty of peppering of narcissism, but I didnt state that everyone should feel as I do.

I simply theorized that this is a symbolic death that will only serve as a vessel for more hatred. Don't see anything wrong with that.
It reads like an insinuation, but that's fine if I misunderstood. My tits are perfectly calm.

I am not saying it doesn't get adopted. Just because the teacher's union became fringe doesn't mean that the majority of society agree with their position. The concern for you, is there influence over our children. I am not concerned about that, because I believe my influence at home far exceeds the influence of a school curriculum.
That's a good case in point. CRT and critical studies generally, filtered into all grade levels as some form of equity or equality activism well before the pandemic. But it wasn't until the remote-learning period when schools were shuttered, and stay-home parents got a real look at it. It doesn't even require connecting critical studies to its Marxist roots to declare how wrong it is to make classrooms activist arenas.

I don't think talking in terms of a plain or simple majority indicates the health or state of the nation. If >60% of Democrats, who are in practicality 1/2 the populace, find socialism more appealing than market systems, I can't term them fringe or negligible due to being a numerical minority. They're a substantial force to be confronted and wrestled to the ground. Iit's simply stunning that we're having this conversation again and increasingly violently. Parents are more aware and active, but I'm not convinced we've turned a corner.

I absolutely think parents can be a bulwark. And that showing humanity to each other can have some impact. But the left has always known capture the mind of youth and you capture tomorrow, and they've a 70-year head start since Euro socialists migrated here and rebranded under names such as critical studies, progressivism, and recently DEI and such. It's literally going to be cultural, trench warfare and likely to worsen.

Be my ray of sunshine, McDad!

No, I think you and the corn cob teeth guy are too chicken **** to actually shoot people. But you are not sane and will gladly condone, encourage it, and hint how great it is.
So it's your assertion that one of the major distinctions between people who shoot other people and people who do not shoot other people is that one is chicken and the other is not?!?!?!?!?

Yep. At peak sanity this year.
As I said to mcdaddio earlier I’m thoroughly outraged by this. Not because it was Kirk but because some idiot(s) decided politically motivated assassination was the answer. But I can assure you my response will not be “ok it’s time for some tit for tat” that is a moronic response to me. It is completely irrational to decide to respond in kind for anyone outraged by this event. Well… short of Kirk’s family I guess or a case like that.

That's kind of what I'm seeing as the case.

Then you should evaluate how your actions, words, etc have consequences for other poster like Ulysees. You, by your philosophy, have a role to play in his bad day, week, or year.
I agree 100%, and that is why I choose my words carefully.

What kind of sheltered bubble do these people live in that think it’s okay to post themselves celebrating Kirk’s assassination? Shouldn’t everyone realize there will be long term consequences?

Carolina Panthers Fire Employee for Disgustingly Mocking Charlie Kirk Assassination in insensitive posts

The Carolina Panthers have reportedly fired a junior employee over insensitive posts he made regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk.

According to the Charlotte Observer's Scott Fowler, Charlie Rock - who worked as the Panthers' Football Communications Coordinator - has been dismissed by the team over the alleged posts on Instagram.

Images circulating on social media appear to show that Rock shared a video of Kirk saying 'it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year' in order to protect Second Amendment rights, before adding his own comment.

He allegedly wrote alongside it: 'Why are yall sad? Your man said it was worth it...'

Another screenshot also shows Rock's Instagram account allegedly posting the song 'Protect Ya Neck' by the Wu-Tang Clan after Kirk was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday.
