The only person I have ever put on ignore. I have never once regretted that decision, or clicked on the little prompt to see what she posted. She brings absolutely nothing to this site but trolling and fake memes she made at home that arent even clever...because the Left cannot meme.

It does not amaze me that with all of the evidence of the left celebrating Kirk's death, the leftists on this forum refuse to accept reality. This is the problem with engaging the left in discourse, they are not honest people and will lie all day long in order to advance their agenda. The left loses on ideas, so they resort to violence. Then we have the number one play in the left's playbook... projection. Leftists claim that their political opponents are guilty of the very things that they do. It is fun to poke at them, but if you are only fooling yourself if you believe they will ever engage in logical or reasonable conversation.

I am generally against anything that makes second class citizens out of anyone, or restricts the rights of all.

most of the time those pushing these "extra" measures have no clue about what they are talking about, and these are some simple questions they need to answer.

I would if it weren't for actual adoption of policies by orgs, academic institutions, and perpetuation by media that those fringe ideas are legit.

Maybe the adoption was out of fear of offending the fringe or maybe it was concurrence with the ideas but for some reason these fringe ideas gained real power over the last 5+ years. It does appear that the majority is finally pushing back.

I don't know the man. I don't follow his events or his socials. But based on what his supporters and his opponents have shared here, I do not believe this is accurate. I think it is opinion based in fact. I suspect he actually advocated for protecting innocent Israelis. The mechanism or protection may be similar or the same as the mechanism of violence, but the perspective of the man should be considered.

Examples to illustrate:
a vote for trump does not mean advocating for his presidency. For some, it was a vote against Harris.
a firearm can be seen as a of protection and a tool of defense depending on the intention of the person involved.

As a Christ follower what should my level of concern be for foreign affairs where no outcome is indicative of a universally positive outcome? Should I simply feel empathy for innocent lives lost (which I do) or should I take a definitive position on who is right and wrong? Should I keep it to myself or share my thoughts with others.

Emulating Kirk's "gotcha" debate style is not very affective when not used against unprepared college students, but feel free to substantiate your statement "far more on the left", since your entire argument is predicated on that belief, you can't just walk away from it.

I could almost guarantee he wasn't wearing a level 4 rated vest. It would have been pretty obvious. At best, it's a IIIA vest which isn't going to stop rifle rounds.

You're right it's not a hard shot for folks that shoot and know ballistics and marksman, but too many factors here that add up to "didn't know that" before pulling the trigger. You take the winds, elevation, drop and add in the inherent non sub MOA accuracy of hunting rifles (they said imported so, likely a Tika or Howa) and you can see why a shot is off target.

Poor shot for someone who knows, lucky shot for someone with basic knowledge of shooting.

Maybe polarizing can be better termed as someone who is not a sheep in the flock. Whether for good or for bad.

Example. I'd say King was polarizing. For good reasons. Would not say Sharpton or Jackson were/are. They are sheep that won't get outside the flock.
