Ferentz Game Maxims:
1. Protect your defense at all costs.
2. Press the punting game. This is where the breaks are made.
3. Long runs, explosive pass plays, red zone efficiency: totally overrated.
4. Take the fight to the opponent’s offense and keep it there for 40 minutes.
And they will continue to be about average and no better. With his defenses they could win a lot and actually prob be a NC contender, instead that have a D1 top 5 defense and an offense that is about as good as a decent high school football offense

Being injured does stink I agree
Not being a conspiracist, but the goal posts have been moving. Is it worse than originally thought? VQ reporting makes it seem all over the place. He's fine, just a stinger, he could go, he will go, precautionary, will be ready, not ready. It's just been a weird non-story
Hope he isn’t holding out or anything close to that.
I don't think it's that

Agent telling him not to go unless he's 110%?
He had Heard in his ear and if you've listened to Heard he wished he didn't play hurt last year...

Also I think this rain causes some additional considerations.

Not saying I know, but to me it is a combo of those 2 plus him not being as strong as he truly needs to be yet.

If he was stronger a stinger probably means less.

It’s following the exact same path as Cooper Mays injury a couple seasons ago.

VQ was shocked how long he was out then as well.

They're probably just parroting whatever the staff is giving them offhand.

I'm all for strategy but between the depth chart and injury reports it's pretty much useless. Unless they say a guy is out for the season, any injury could be 1-10 weeks.

I hear ya. I caught crap from Bama fans before the Syracuse game with them saying I’m going to the game to watch my guys lose. I just shut up and didn’t say anything. How ironic when their guys are the ones who lost. I’m staying quiet until after the game next week and hoping I can brag for the first time in 8 years!
Thats me too, I am cautiously optimistic and hope we can pull it off. The bammers are distraught that I work with. They have already given up on the season after 1 loss, its the dumbest thing. They are all Fairweather though and don't remember sucking like that cause they weren't fans before Saban.

She wants to act like a man she’s gonna get dropped
Obviously don’t hit women but she threatened him
I’d probably knocked her false teeth out
**** around and find out needs to happen more often
People have no fear of repercussions which is lack of respect in the grand scheme of things
This could’ve gone all kinds of sideways but good on that dad for taking the high road and showing his son how to handle a bad situation with class. They ended up being the big winners in this, team goodie bag and got to me the player who hit the homer, got a bat and autograph.
Im sure this woman will play the victim card on social media.

They’re def just repeating what the staff tells them. That’s my point - they’re in the dark bc Heup doesn’t like anyone not in the building knowing stuff.

Why do teams always play out of their mind against us, but then look like garbage against everyone else?
We’re a blue blood football school from the South and this isn’t 2018 anymore, so we're going to get every team’s best shot no matter how bad they are. We’re at the point now where beating us doesn’t just give the opponent a +1 in the win column, it can prevent an opposing coach from getting fired.

Whatever he thinks is best.

I do think the defensive injuries could force our offense to play more aggressive, which could end up being a benefit. By the time we start getting guys back and healing up on D, the offense could be further along. That's what happened for 2019 LSU. Not that we're 2019 LSU. But maybe. Nah. But...
