Every rumor is baseless until it’s not. Him not playing despite being reportedly healthy is very weird.

Where has it been reported that he's healthy? I haven't seen that at all. It absolutely was reported that he was injured during practice the week of the Syracuse game. That's the only concrete info we have to go on, the rest is speculation or outright BS.

How does Iowa always have one of the worst offenses in the country? Always has a pretty good defense but for the love of god please hire a dang good OC and let him actually have control, because watching this Iowa/Iowa State game is absolutely hilarious with how bad their offense is! Not sure how Iowa can be so dumb, fire Kirk Ferentz if he can’t get into this century with his offense.

At some point you have to question if Iowa is trying to have a bad offense.

Ferentz Game Maxims:
1. Protect your defense at all costs.
2. Press the punting game. This is where the breaks are made.
3. Long runs, explosive pass plays, red zone efficiency…totally overrated.
4. Take the fight to the opponent’s offense and keep it there for 40 minutes.
