That's a hell of a goalpost move there.

But, yes they did and did it without sending in a federalized NG. They just violated a whole bunch of people's civil rights.

6. while focusing on #5, also review for the purposes of reducing welfare. you can't cut everything all at once. but start weeding out people, and reducing benefits.
7. this goes with 6 & 2, but focus on the family unit. this is both government policy as well as cultural.
8. hold people accountable, not just the government but the individuals on welfare. if your kids can't maintain some threshold at school your benefits go down.
9. stop politicizing everything. there is a problem, we need to come together to find solutions.
10. make sure basic utilities and infrastructure are in place. hard to raise a family if the water source can't be trusted, hard to get to work if the roads are crap, or no public transportation exists.
11. kinda goes with #9, but address the people, and not just the politics of an issue. I think one of the drivers of violence is that the people aren't really heard by their representatives. the representatives use them to gain power, but then ignore the people behind it.

I am sure there are more things, but I would start with those basics.

When idiots continue to vote other idiots into office your ideas won’t work. Sorry but it’s true. The leadership in these cities are not qualified. It’s like asking the janitorial department(that’s poorly run) to design a new building. Just not capable.

But hey let’s not do what works. let’s throw money at the problem and blame the opposition for the problems they created.

That’s a comfort labor position where I live. I bet if you ask DC residents that are not in fear today they would disagree.

DC is a completely different issue than sending federalized NG units to other cities.

seeing mayoral polling numbers in gutter, and yet keep electing even bigger nutsies with even lower approval numbers..yea I dont buy Chicago election results at all..


Specifically, 98% of prospective voters consider the public safety situation in Chicago to be personally important to them (84% consider it very important), and 69% consider the public safety situation in Chicago to be worse than it is in other American cities.

They would rather see Chicagoans die just to oppose trump. That mayor and Governor will never have to worry about being attacked
