I like having games against teams like ETSU, but I hate the potential for injury in an otherwise meaningless game. Hopefully we birth out a 28-0 1st quarter and play the JV team the rest of the way.

I discovered something funny. If you google how many players Alabama lost to the portal this year, dozens of articles praising them for losing no one in the SPRING portal show up. Yeah, not many guys are bolting in the Spring. They were desperate for wins to sell this offseason. From what I can tell they lost a lot of talent to the portal. That's why I keep cringing when I see people point out how well they have recruited. That is fine and dandy but you have to keep them around. Plus how much of that talent was along the LOS anyway? From the looks of it not nearly enough. Yesterday an Ex-Bama RB looked really good for Michigan and another helped FSU beat Alabama last night. That has to sting!

At first, I was confident that the Vols would score 2 TDs per quarter and 1 field goal per half for a total of 62 with Syracuse scoring 3.

But I had a premonition that the final score will be
Tennessee 45
Syracuse 26
There will be an extreme amount of anxiety early when numerous WRs drop difficult but catchable passes. They settle down and there’s never a doubt that the Vols will win. Oh yes, first quarter boys are back. Defense is clicking and occasionally missing but overall great.

Oh and just for fun, I also predict that nico will throw for less than 150 yards. He definitely made the right decision to leave Tennessee. Right decision for Tennessee that is… 😂

I’m still in 8/16, but I will have to skip ahead to the future because the conversation here is not really about football. It’s Time! 😎
