Cracker Barrel has fallen

lmao

As of this second, if you bought the stock right before they announced the rebrand, you'd actually be up on the trade. It's made back the losses and then some.

Now I think people will realize the food still isn't good and we'll go back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Yeah, if it taste good it's pretty much unhealthy. Eat healthy at home.
Maybe I am slowly going all Robert Kennedy here; but I am beginning to think that it isn’t the calories and fat per se that are the issue as much as the processing and additives. Our grandparents ate fatty high cal food and seemed to do ok. And there wasn’t nearly the obesity problem we have today.
I am started to suspect that it has more to do with the body knowing what to do with the natural fat and carbs that humanity routinely uses to eat vs all of the adulterated slop we gat fed today 🤔

I order a pizza for pickup, I get a text when its ready.

I order CB, I get told a time when its ready. I show up. I wait in line. They call to the back on a walkie talkie. They eventually bring the food up.

If they are out of something, there's no way for them to say out of stock or get a refund at the store level.

(This is actually an improvement over 2020 and 2021)

You have to let them know you’re there a few minutes before you actually get there so they’ll start preparing before you actually pull up.

So is Cracker Barrel going to keep the store design? Or are they going to get rid of all of the souvenirs on the walls?

Remember to, our grandparents worked a lot and burned more calories. I do think you're right though you can have natural fat natural carbohydrates natural starches which are still good for you

I didn't know that and don't know how that's possible. I assumed all
Of the major players were forced to do that during covid

I’m not sure what he’s saying. We have ordered online for pickup a few times. They have in store and curbside pickup as well as DoorDash and the other delivery services.

Was your voice cracking? 🤣

That is the $64,000 question for which I have not seen an answer
And this is how the goal post moves. They take down everything that made cracker Barrel a unique place. Yet, people have been focusing on the sign. They put back the sign but then they remodel the stores anyways to look like every other restaurant. People who complain think they won because the company decided to keep the original sign

It's big Ag this time. Producing that **** FrankenWheat. When I was much younger, I didn't know ANYBODY that had all those gut diseases we are hearing so much about these days. My wife has problems after eating pizza a lot of times, and we have narrowed it down to the ****** wheat that is used in the dough. The bread in Europe and Asia is just different. It tastes different, smells different... everything. America is the test bed for big corporations.

American supermarket „white bread“ is mostly air anyway. Not nearly as dense and filling as real bread. So I agree wholeheartedly. I have recently switched my sandwiches from white to pumpernickel rye. Much better flavor and more „heft“

A lot of different foods are different/better. Some American products are specifically prohibited in the EU for health reasons. A big reason to visit Europe and other parts of the world. I could live on just the bread in France.

The longer I live the more I am convinced that the arrogance of big Pharma and Big Farm is going to be the death of us all. They are both so arrogant to think they can play God and manipulate gene structure with zero consequences. Take RoundUp for example: Weren't we told that it would become inert when it hit dirt and would only attack 'weeds'? How did that work out? Now we have them genetically altering wheat to both resist pesticides AND to grow faster. What could possibly go wrong? But at least we have Big Pharma coming up with new drugs every day for Celiac disease and other gluten allergies.

There's also stuff we ban that they don't.

That's exactly my point. And now we have JFKjr standing up to those people, and the leftist crowd treats him like he's nuts. Maybe on some things he is a little over the top, but on a lot of things, he isn't.

'Don't worry red dye #5 is perfectly safe. We've tested it on lab rats and everything for decades. Trust us!' I wonder how well Froot Loops will sell when all the colors actually exist in nature.

Did you know that it's mostly processed food that causes lung cancer, not cigarettes?
Weird.
Also, Japan's large at McDonald's is a small here.
Also. Weird.

I want us to ban artificial dyes in general, horrible for your health.

Look at some pictures of crowds from the 70s and 80w. Now look outside your window.
Is it a coincidence that at about the same time we were being told to change our diet to eliminate fats and carbs; we started becoming a nation of morbidly obese people? Should we have gotten at least marginally „healthier“ instead of ballooning into the nation we are today?

A fine question, Provost.
