Are you this freaking dumb? That's your litmus test? If it makes money, the US government can do it. Just insert slavery, extortion, drug dealing, etc.I was just wondering if it works out why is it bad if the USA makes money off it. Sounds like from you are saying the USA want
So was it ok in the chips and save act under Biden that so much taxpayer money went to Intel. If the USA owning a part of it now is it bad for the USA to make money back from Intel if they can?
If the people who have run Intel the past 10-20 years ran these companies...
Amazon- Would only be an online bookseller
Netflix - Would only be delivering DVDs
Apple - Would only be selling Macs and ipods
Google - Would only be doing search
So we have you down for approving the incentives under IRA (the 25% Investment Credit and 45X) and CHIPS...
I really dont like govt picking winners and losers here. I dont like IRA and I dont like CHIPS. I can at least buy your argument as a rational justification....
So it’s bad then. Is that what that picture says. Never bought any stocksView attachment 767072
I assume books with pictures hold your attention.
Thats what I was wondering. So a lot of yall think its a bad investment
A lot of similarities to T. They don't have the stupid acquisitions like T but neither company had the foresight to see changes in their industries (INTC with doubling down on desktops and T being slow to joining the 21st century)
Now if that little red line goes up and those numbers go up that’s a good thing rightView attachment 767072

I’ll admit that on the surface using Intel as the test case to onshore chip fab capacity was a decent idea. Intel was a fab powerhouse quite a while back. Now that I’ve had a chance to look under the hood at Intel it’s what you posted. It’s hospice. Are you this freaking dumb? That's your litmus test? If it makes money, the US government can do it. We live in the dumbest of times.
