College football Freaks List 2025: Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith tops a list of 101
The 2025 Freaks List is here. College football is close!

Arion Carter is 12th
Who says he needs to fail before some of VN eats him alive?Dont believe I said Merklinger should be starting QB. I was just letting @JCVol00 know it's most likely not going to be Merklinger because most of the fans are on the Aguilar bus.
If it is Aguilar , nothing but best wishes to him as QB1 but if he fails this fan base will eat him alive and you know it....
Nico was a total nothing burger last year and they still made the playoffs. That’s the disappointing thing about all of this. Could have been another playoff run with those pieces. I still wonder if it would have been worth the extra $$ to keep Nico for one more season. Big Nick may have been a headache but now we’ve traded that for our own QB headache.
Has it been confirmed that George has put on 20 to 25lbs? I saw it somewhere here; but, cant recall if it was quoting AP, Hubbs, someone of that caliber, or someone else. Thanks for the info.
If George is playing the best, I'd be pretty bummed not to put him out there just because of his frame. I just don't think that matters all that much for a guy who is not at all a dual threat anyway.
And not to be flippant about a player's health... But if I'm wrong and he's getting banged up and not holding up out there, you're just right back to Aguilar anyway?
Outlier report. I had a stem or two of rosemary in a pasta sauce that I simmered all day. So much so that a couple of leaves must have fallen from the stem into the sauce when I removed the stems shortly before serving. I was surprised when I tasted a rosemary leaf (I didn't see it) in a bite and it was soft and the intensity of the taste had mellowed into something nice. But that was one of those sauces that simmered all day. (I added too much beef broth and wanted it to cook down (lose most of its water.)) A happy accident.Ya it's good as an essence, but whole leaves or stems is way way too much.
He has great potential, honestly I'm excited to see what Heupel can do with him. If Milton or Nico could have hit just half the wide open deep routes Heupel schemed open, our results would have been much better. I think Joey has shown he can be more accurate than both of them, and his OL will be a little better than last year.Average at best?View attachment 762449

I'm learning, but the reward should be worth a 30 second guess.
I agree, but I don't see our defense being as good. But Ya, if Joey can be better than Nico (not hard) to make up for the defense being not as good, it's not crazy to hope for 10 wins.Nico was a total nothing burger last year and they still made the playoffs.
Would be shocked if we repeated a playoff appearance, but Aguilar doesn’t have to be spectacular to win.
This is so absolutely true. Definitely part of my weight related issues. Family issues and a knee injury derailed my life (self pity associated with eating as a defense mechanism). There are certainly some people that have genetic issues and are predispositioned to weight and other health issues. However, I would venture to guess that a very high percentage of the obese to morbidly obese people in this country either have an extremely poor diet with little to no portion control or they have a mental health issue that manifests as an eating disorder to deal with painful issues in their past. Taking a weight loss drug or getting a weight loss surgery will not deal with either of those two issues in the long term.
Trevor Lawrence took over starting QB position at Clemson as a Freshman after sharing time with incumbent Kelly Bryant. Lawrence was 6'6" and weighed 215 pounds .went on to lead Clemson to a National Championship.Has it been confirmed that George has put on 20 to 25lbs? I saw it somewhere here; but, cant recall if it was quoting AP, Hubbs, someone of that caliber, or someone else.
If it's true, that would put him at 215 to 220. At 6'6, even at 220, he's still going to be somewhat "skinny"/look skinny; however, he weighs 220lbs!!!...that's not small. Of course, we want him bigger and stronger (if the weight gain is true, thats a great sign and progress...putting on 20/25 in a short while); but, I am totally cool with him playing at 215/220. He just cant take multiple shots, like most QBs.
Im not saying his weight and strength shouldn't be factors in throwing him to the wolves, Im not. I just dont believe its as big of one as some. This is what I do believe: if George gives Huepel the best chance to win, if Heupel truly believes that, be it with accuracy, consistency, command, poise, deep ball, big plays...if George is already better or on par as the other two, he'll play. Doesn't matter if he's a toothpick.
Every time to start is a good time.I have very faint memories of watching games in the early 2000s, but otherwise I became really invested when I got older. I never became closely interested until after Fulmer was already gone so I guess I’m somewhere in between these 2 crowds.

I have rosemary in our garden and like to pick leaves and chew them raw. It's a wonderful spice.Outlier report. I had a stem or two of rosemary in a pasta sauce that I simmered all day. So much so that a couple of leaves must have fallen from the stem into the sauce when I removed the stems shortly before serving. I tried eating it out of a garden when I was young, and found out what you said. I do like the look for plating. And I usually eat those ornaments (because they're good) but that one finds a spot at the edge of my plate.
Maybe a hot take but I think they can at least be as good or better on defense.I agree, but I don't see our defense being as good. But Ya, if Joey can be better than Nico (not hard) to make up for the defense being not as good, it's not crazy to hope for 10 wins.
I wonder if Enki is Steve from LexingtonThere's still opportunities for direct fan interaction with coaches and players. It's clear you have a personal sentiment with Vol Calls and I hate you're losing something you have an attachment to but imo it's a tad of an overreaction. Times have changed and they're almost certainly going to replace it with similar content.
Helen Keller could've won a National Championship playing QB at Ohio State with that loaded team of 5* at most positions. Will Howard transferred to OSU with similar stat lines to Aguilar and won a National Championship. Remember how bad Hooker was at practice? I take these reports with a grain of salt.
I doubt Mccoy is back to as good so soon after the injury. And OL not having to focus on Pearce will make the rest of the DL look not as good. They really benefited from an increased focus on him.Maybe a hot take but I think they can at least be as good or better on defense.
More athletic and deeper at LB and secondary. DL may not be as good but as good as they were, that didn’t equate to high sack totals last year. If someone like Hobbs or Herring takes the next step, they may be just as good there as well.
