Israel vs Palestinians

You think this is news to me? Why do you think I'm so passionate about this thread?

I believe somewhere around January 2024 I was thinking/probably saying in here the only way this ever "ends" is if Israel wipes them out. Israel's not interested in less control and enough Palestinians are mad enough about their subjugation that there will always be violence from their side.
Then the palestinians are quite possibly the stupidest group of humans who have ever existed since the dawn of civilization.

They have no money. They have no resources. They have no viable army. They have no international support. They have no self determination. They have no control. They are not welcomed by any bordering nation.

They exist at the discretion of Israel. As long as the only natural resource they generate is hate, they are truly hopeless.

Your passion is yours to choose. But that doesn't mean your passion project isn't a waste of time.

You have a tendency to be exceptionally obtuse in these discussions. Let me try to understand your building blocks to your thoughts so I can possibly understand you better...
Are you saying the approach of peaceful protest / existence doesn't work for anyone? Or, are you saying it has not worked for the palestinian people?
The tendency to be obtuse isn't mine. I mean what I wrote. Being peaceful and passive hasn't done the PA any good. Now that who the PA is has been clarified, do you still maintain that they haven't done that?
Before Israeli independence, the Zionists were weaker compared to the British. Why do you think they chose terrorism over peaceful protest?

My most objective reply is the world at large makes no distinction between the PA, PLO, Hamas, or any other group acting on behalf of palestinians.

The world does not see them as peaceful and passive. The world sees them as holding hostages. Parading dead opponents through their streets.

I disagree. People are responsible for their actions. This girl wasn't created because of a movement. This girl chose to bully, demean, and be ugly. This is who she is. All she needs (in her mind) is justification.
....assuming the video is real.

Personally, I am tired of all the slogans, threats, and pussyfooting around. Let's get with it. Either the groups (Hamas and IDF) go all in until the last man is standing or I am done with them. I've got better things to do with my time and energy.
I don’t know you may be right. IMO the protests is what has contributed to the enormous rise in antisemitism around the world. People have become more brazen and feel justified to attack Jews.

I am usually cautious to declare something without evidence. I don't know if there are more and more brazen attacks against Hebrews and Shebrews or if we are more tuned into those because of other circumstances.

There are real and complete bass turds that walk the planet. There always will be. They just need an outlet for their disgusting behavior. I think this conflict is in the national consciousness so they feel like this is an appropriate outlet.

A USAID internal review examined 156 reported aid theft incidents from October 2023 to May 2025 and found no evidence attributing losses to Hamas. Most incidents couldn’t be traced to any specific actor.

Yes, terrorist groups, like Hamas, typically don't hand out business cards.

That says since May 19, and the only person in that article attributing it to Hamas is an Israeli professor.

They put Hamas in the headline without any evidence that it's Hamas.

An article filled with lines like this "According to official Israeli sources..." is good for wiping my ass.
So you've come around and decided virtually anything coming from the UN is only worthy of doodoo paper?

I don't understand why your response is taking the Lord's name in vain.

I am dealing with what actually is.

I don't understand judging Palestinians as an amorphous group and calling them "the stupidest people ever" when they are all victims and only some of them are doing the stupid things. We have terrorists in places where there is far less oppression, why we would expect ALL Palestinians to somehow accept their oppression without violent response? That isn't realistic at all, so maybe you should incorporate that thought into your "how it really is" assessment.

I'm arguing for humanity in here, which I don't think is a waste of time.

Not sure what you're doing here.

I did a search of how the "little guy" fights the "big guy" because I was curious about the options Palestinians legitimately have. I cannot remember each of the options but there wasn't a lot of them. One i remember is, Guerrilla tactics. Another was peaceful protests because it changes the emotional perspective of others and it garner's support against the bigger, better resourced opponent.
We've seen Guerilla tactics in the ME. Are those working? No.
Palestinians are running out of viable options and Peaceful protest is not something they have done. Note, it doesn't matter what you and I think about "genocide" or "starving". It matters what the Arab nations nearby think.

If you believe palestinians are not going to gain support through peaceful protests, then I have very disheartening news for you. They are doomed. Until either international assistance changes, or they are annihilated, they will continue to suffer badly.

This conflict doesn't end until one group destroys the other.
I will say that Arab neighbors putting public pressure on Hamas and it's affiliates to surrender control and lay down arms is a positive sign.

Once that is done then pressure starts to intensify on Israel.

What Israel does from there remains to be seen

You don't understand my "judging" and you don't know what I am doing here.

If you'd like to ask, I'm happy to explain.

Is that a recent development

You can't vote in and support your slave owner and then claim a victim status when that owner starts a wars...that's stupid and lack the accountability of the Palestinians l...no one made them celebrate And drag bodies thru the street..they chose to do that..no one forced them to vote in Hamas. They CHOSE IT and now they deal with the consequences..it's called accountability...

Lay it on us
Gather the top 3 leaders for both sides, their immediate family (spouses and children) and their extended families (siblings and parents).
Put them in a bomb proof bunker. Strap an explosive device to each person. The 6 leaders work out the terms to peace. If they cannot come to compromise in a reasonable amount of time, the explosive devices are detonated and the process begins again with 6 new leaders.
If any group agrees to peace terms they are allowed out of the bunker and back to "normal" life but the bombs remain attached. If those terms are violated by either side, bombs are detonated and the process begins again.

Peace will be achieved quickly.
