I always thought you can be more aggressive on last putt if your partner has a given 2 putt, as you dont want to leave it short..although he left some short, but no context.

Ok maybe I guess. I’ve just always approached putting the same regardless of the game. Try to sink it but don’t f$&@ it up so bad you three putt. Mentally for me at least each first putt attempt is pretty much the same 🤷‍♂️

That's like how we always played, especially off the tee and putting. Off the tee if you've got a smasher the goal was to get at least one good one in play and if you did he could try to come out of his shoes on his swing. If he ends up wild no real loss as we've got one to play. For putting everybody it obviously taking their best shot but giving the strongest putter an opportunity to read the other putts is an advantage.

That’s pretty much how we played best ball too. The putting strategy is to have your best putter see the line and speed. But everyone made their best attempt at the putt 🤷‍♂️

CNBC host Jim Cramer’s excitement about President Donald Trump’s latest trade deal got the better of him on Monday.

Cramer blurted out "What the f---!" during a segment of CNBC’s "Squawk on The Street" after seeing a graphic detailing the United States’ recent trade deals with various countries, including a major trade deal made with the European Union on Sunday.

"Our biggest problem is we have so much growth that the Fed won’t cut. What the f---!" the co-host exclaimed, regretting it as soon as he said it.

it is just nuance..you know when someone tells you Dont Leave it Short..you dont have to worry about running it 3 feet by..maybe you can take some break out by stronger putt. you will never make it being short.. but yea..I get what you are saying.

I’d generally drive second and putt first. If my partner had a safe drive I’d let it rip as I was generally longest off the tee. And for at least the best ball partners I had it was an even ability on putting or I was weaker.

I never did best ball or scramble with friends..just few times I played some corporate or company event.

I think most people knew Trump was shady from the start, they just overlook it. Frankly, everyone that is that high in politics is pretty crappy these days... Biden and Kamala had their crap as well... Tough times we live in.

Since we’re doing anecdotal golf tales I’ll share what my neighbor/golf buddy told me at poker Saturday night.

He’s 81 and insists on playing white tees. And he’ll beat me by at least 5 strokes a round usually. Shoots mid 80’s with the occasional 81/82.

So he played with a group of elderly buddies who insisted on playing senior tees. He didn’t want to do it but that is what the group decided. Dude shot a 73 on par 72. 🥶 This was last Thursday.
