The EU agreed to purchase $750 billion of American energy and invest $600 billion into the US beyond current levels.

Part of the arrangement also involved a European agreement to “purchase a vast amount of military equipment” from the US, though Trump noted, “We don’t know what that number is” yet.

The Stock Market will hit another record high tomorrow.

I still believe it's just deflection from the Jeffry scandal. Other more credible source say this "evidence " is a lie. Senate investigation said nothing to it.

But let's waste a few million$$$ investigating. Maybe we can bring Bengazi up for round 14.
Sure, it’s time Clinton is held accountable.

Doesn't answer the question. If Trump was a victim of Russian accusations, why did he not start something then?
Short answer. Donnie is lying again

There were plenty that called it a hoax then. It seems every time a dim says something is a “conspiracy theory” it turns out to be true.

So you are defending it..a bureaucracy of 25k people that shouldnt even exist. Got it.
Did he get the project approved? Is there an explanation for the cost overruns? Did Trump look like a moron on tv about this? Yes. That's the answer to all of those. Why wasn't Trump complaining when this project first got off the ground.

Did he get the project approved? Does he have the ability to just say hey I'm building this Mother? No. Your anger is misplaced. And Trump had to go all Trump and try a gotcha moment that backfired right in his face.
3B+ for renovations of one or two buildings is insane, not anger..rather surprised you are on board, but whatever. no skin off my back.

It’s a dumb angle all together. Yes, government costs in general should be lower. But that’s not the real reason this became a story.

Yet I’m sure plenty of horrible government projects do. So why was this one specifically brought to national attention? The reason is a complete joke.
Bullcrap..the only reason we even knew about it..3B to read and push excel spreadsheets..that is the joke.

Maybe. A detailed account of costs and the details might surprise you. Especially the type of of hardware and software that may have been required for a proper physical structure and secure information storage. That hasn't been reported. Let's see what the FR provides for proof of their expenditures and if it provides sufficient details.

Small government?

From the article:

The Federal Reserve is pushing ahead with an eye-watering $2.5 billion revamp of its Washington, DC HQ despite mounting losses — as one ex-official accused central bankers of behaving like French royalty.

The lavish project, first rubber-stamped by government pen-pushers in 2021, is now effectively being subsidized by American taxpayers because the Fed has not made a profit since 2022.

The plans include rooftop garden terraces, skylights, ornate water features, and a new elevator system that allows board members to be dropped off directly in their VIP dining suite.

You aren't going to want a national VAT (see Brazil, for example).....
A VAT is just a way to rig the tax such that some are excluded or pay a fraction of the tax. A tariff applies fairly to the first buyer (the importer) and what happens after that is up to choice at each point down the line.
