That was my train of thought too, but I don't understand Donald Trump's extreme reaction to questions about releasing those files. Trump looks genuinely angry when the subject of Jeffrey Epstein comes up. What is Trump talking about when he says this is the "Epstein hoax?"

Prior to the DOJ memo, the only person who had accused Trump of being named in the files was Elon Musk. Democrats weren't talking about it. Nothing looks more suspicious than becoming irate, and denying something that you haven't yet been accused of.

That poll had nothing to do with independents, which is the true test of a President's approval. You do not need to remind me that Republicans will stick with Trump, regardless of what happens.
