Donald Trump will say something, and then pause and repeat it, while he is thinking of what to say next. Trump will change thoughts in mid-sentence. One tangent leads to another unrelated tangent. Trump speaks in a monotonic drone. He is dry and witless. He rambles on and on in overlong, boring rants, where his primary purpose is to air grievances, cast himself as a victim, and personally insult and attack his perceived enemies for things, which could just as easily apply to him. He is a transcriber's worst nightmare, while being incredibly awkward and uncomfortable to listen to.

I don't think Trump is a great speaker at all but I find it refreshing that he speaks off the cuff instead of reading a teleprompter speech that was written by someone else.

That's your opinion. Obviously, not everyone agrees with you. I think sometimes that he does a really bad job, sometimes a really good job, sometimes he is hilarious and sometimes he says something stupid. I love that he attacks the media and cheer it on every time. I love that he is not reading someone else speeches but you are free to feel differently.

I thought the West point speech was very bad. I'm not sure that I heard the Tuscaloosa speech. I think sometimes is really good and sometimes very bad. I prefer it over the fake speeches from all other Presidents but you are free to feel

The "TDS" retort has become so overused as an all-purpose defense of any criticism of Donald Trump, that it's become a cliche, every bit as empty and meaningless as "Rent free."

It hurts your feelings whenever Donald Trump is criticized, and using the "TDS" fallback is quicker and easier than actually having to address the criticism itself. It's old, boring, tired and lazy .... which is more than likely an apt description of those who frequently use it.

It isn’t. But would you rather Iran have nuclear weaponry or not? Israel striked and then begged for us to finish the job. Our interests were aligned here. I’d rather not get involved but we were put in a position where action or inaction would get criticized.
