Agreed. Kudos for doing his own stunts and keeping in good shape. Enjoy his movies, but as we agreed...I think...he's not the best casting choice for Reacher. I do understand why he was chosen tho. Financially, it's a no brainer for sure.

Your son is a good man. I married a Georgia peach that loves the lady vols so it wasn't difficult. She always loved Pat and she loves Tennessee almost as much as I do, no house divided here............besides she REALLY loves Tony V.

Plus the guy gets huge respect from me. Anyone that could be married to Nicole Kidman and then Katie Holmes is pretty good

There was one restaurant next to a bait shop that we loved going to. It was sold and the new owners didn't keep it up. Bad food and bad service. Last time I was there, the only decent place to east was Paddy's and the pizza joint. Been several years since I've been back so maybe things are better?

I think I remember Julia’s being a pretty good restaurant in Apalachicola, but not much so on the island.

After Mexico Beach got hammered by hurricane Michael, a lot of those folks found SGI and then never went back to vacationing at Mexico Beach. The middle of the island is a lot more crowded during the summer than it used to be and I think the beachfront scene is different than it was just 7 years ago. We always stay bayfront in the Plantation or on the east end, so it still feels like good ol' SGI for us most of the week. Rental prices have made a big jump the last three years, so maybe that will slow things back down...then again, I know someone who bought a beachfront home in the Plantation last year that costs over $10k a week to rent during the summer and he said it's all booked up.

He's also the last of a generation of movie stars that understood people only want to see them in movies, not out there in the world trying to be a thought leader with their third grade education.

Recruiting question for those who have been keeping up, who are the DL we are pursuing? Seems like we should be going after several, but the only one I know about is Albert. Who else are we pursuing on the DL?
