New York City

I hate to say he represents my area. It's representatives of our government like these that cater to the peanut gallery that ruin our politics.

This should be called out. There's plenty of people like these on both sides of the isle and we should call them out when they say and do stupid crap like this.
He's accurate. He should be able to call out truth what a politician that goes against America and the Constitution like this guy does

Lol, the fact is dude, New York City is a crap hole and you can try to defend that communist City all you want. The prices are too high crime is rampant and you have politicians that hate law and order. There are thousands of people leaving because they can't afford to live there. Stop being a communist
"Everything I don't like is communism"

Any city where you can’t find a decent hotel room for under $300 a night (plus $60 parking and $50 „resort fee“) is almost too expensive to VISIT, much less live in. Throw in $250 for a pair of Broadway „budget“ tickets. A couple of hundred more for a pair of tickets to one of the skyscraper observation decks and your three meals for the day and you are looking at about a $1000 day (if you are careful). We did a trip last July for about a week. Can’t afford to do that again for a while 😳

That's not what a tariff is. After all the news about tariffs lately we should at least know what they are.

If you aren’t even in NY if import business into nyc you’re going to be paying to do it. It’s even more ridiculous when you say it out loud.

70s and 80s had difference problems, they didn't have hardware communist leading it as they do today, it's way different now.
Republican Rudy Giuliani running NYC didn't stop people from saying it was dying then too. According to its critics, that city has been dying or on the verge of dying for the last 50 years.

The left attacks Christians constantly bit they'll defend Muslims, just as they're doing in the UK. He is right, that mayor will be pro Muslim, what you fail to understand is that they support Muslims no matter if it hurts the rest of their citizens.
Many or most on the left are Christians. Have you noticed that?
When's the last time you saw someone on the left mock a Christian as 'Li'l Jesus' or the like?

I agree, yet people continue to visit and pay those prices. Otherwise the city would be much cheaper.

NYC doesn't float your boat. It doesn't mine either. But just because it doesn't do anything for us doesn't mean it doesn't do anything for other people. The things that NYC has going for it doesn't really appeal to me, but they do to a lot of other people.

That ultimately is why I'm not a big fan of the place...it's that the assets that it has don't really appeal to me, not because it has drawbacks. There are drawbacks to living anywhere.

Oh I love to visit NYC. I just can’t afford to do so very often. I could spend about 3 days in Europe for what I spend in a single day in New York.

He can call out anything he wants, but he doesn't have right to target people for deportation because he disagrees with their constitutionally protected speech.

Attack him politically the flaws in his policies, that's fine. But that's not what he's doing.

This is why our politics are so skewed toward the fringe, we accept and cheerlead stupid crap like this with partisan glee. You can't call out the opposite side for their hypocrisy and bad faith actions when you cheerlead it from your preferred party.

In short you are feeding the very thing you despise. If you cheerlead for your fringe the fringe on the opposite side gains strength and power. It works both ways and you slurp and feed it!

John Demjanjuk at least.

Thanks, I would have to look it up. I imagine it would be very difficult to strip someone of their citizenship unwilling. That is a pretty engrained right. Treason is probably the most likely reason as that is the only criminal offense called out in the Constitution.

NYC's had rent control in one form or another for at least 75 years. Has their leadership been communist that long?
What do you mean by communist by the way?

It's all relative, it will but the citizens will continue to suffer, except for the Muslims and the leaders

Including your airfare to Europe? I find that hard to believe.
Including airfare, my last 10 day to Switzerland, Austria, and Germany came in at just over $2000. I got round trip airfare from Nashville to Zurich for just over $500. Took trains between cities instead of renting a car, stayed in single rooms near the train stations, and tried to eat at least one meal a day from the grocery store. So just over $100 per day. Of course this was in winter; the most inexpensive time to go as long as you aren’t going to one of the ski resorts.
Trying to plan a similar trip sponsor Scandinavia but it will be more expensive

That's what he's doing. Look at the UK an what their Muslims leaders have done. He has a legitimate concern. We are to defend America against enemies foreign or domestic. He's definitely a domestic enemy.

It's a tax and not a tariff. Many countries levy such a tax. I'm not saying it's a good idea, just that it's not a tariff.
