The point that apparently went over your head is that opening a few city-run stores does not equate to centralizing the entire NYC grocery system

It never stays that way. Government provided „services“ can’t compete with free market and government programs are almost NEVER stopped. So eventually government starts to slowly strangle private businesses through taxation or over regulation until they go out of business or leave; allowing the government service monopoly status.
The only exception that readily comes to mind is the postal service

Prepare yourself for the double shift reply that is normal. 1) doesn’t support Hamas, only the „Palestinians“ (who elected Hamas and overwhelming continue to support HAMAS in every poll and 2) it’s not opposition to „Jews“, just to „Zionism“ (the only Jewish homeland on the planet)
