New York City

Of course. I'm just pointing out that "all the rich people leaving NYC and wrecking their revenue" is painted as just around the corner every couple of years with not much to show for it
Political hyperbole abounds. You're in the right to point it out.

The reason our deficit is increasing is not "fraud and waste," it's tax cuts for the wealthy. All of the other cuts in spending are just to pay for tax cuts and they still don't come anywhere close

This is not correct. The argument uses a bad premise as its building blocks which results in a badly constructed idea.

Jokes can be Islamophobic or racist, of course. Are you dumb enough to think jokes are immune?
A liberal standard for what's racist, homophobic, islamophobic, is basically the bar is buried under the ground. As I say your skin is thinner that copy paper. But there is truth in what I say

I understand your point, I do think the police are getting more impatient but I also think the people are getting a lot more aggressive. it's a circular problem. If a police tries to be patient and tries to talk to that person, that person gets extremely belligerent name calls and then that policeman loses his patience so it's a perpetual motion of tempers being escalated. I do think that the politicians and these non-government organizations, antifa, these other radical leftist groups want these escalations against the police. You continue to agitate and that's how you get change and normally the change doesn't benefit people
Again, no argument from me. But in my opinion, your own words illustrate we need to try different approaches. The continued escalation of conflict between citizens and police is not something any of us want to see.

One of many

That proves what exactly? The only reason that the 'rich' would stay is if they have a workaround which a lot of the billionaires do. If they are going to lose a large portion of their money, they will either a) leave because they are smart, or b) stay and watch the government steal their money because they are stupid.

Seeing a Muslim from Uganda and immediately associating him with terrorists and 9/11, which happened when he was 9 years old, is prejudiced by any definition, not just "liberal" ones lol

Rich people don't actually leave, they just threaten to
"Source?"
*Source says the same thing backed by research*
"Well that doesn't prove anything"

Lmao

What makes them "his boys?" Hitler was raised Christian, is that your boy?
Not arguing the overarching point but Hitler was not raised in a Christian home. His mother was Catholic, his father was not religious. He was baptized but never really accepted the Catholic Church.

What you say is true. A person at risk of harming others, or making credible threats will require police assistance anyway. But the key to me is what else you said. See in your post where you say, "that sometimes you need Force"? There the heart of what I am talking about. Sometime force is needed. Sometimes it isn't. Right now the only recourse we have to respond to the moment are people who are trained in force and are seen as force. What about the times it isn't needed or even pours gas on the open fire and makes it worse?
Wouldnt that be a peace thru strength type system??? Sometimes it'll be worse..others it won't....just like without force more time then not people will push the envelope to see how much they can get away with...

According to Google AI...
NYC is down from around a billion q3 24 to q3 25

Real Property taxes are down 22.3%

To go along with an 9 billion lost from corporation and high end tax payer leaving. Between 2020 and 2025.
