Organizational FAILURE at every level to see ozzie and mike take the at bats that they take every night, and every night for the last 4-8 years.
I don't think they'll move him from DSL, but Tornes is not at all challenged right now. Has hits in 11 straight and many of those are multi hit games, 8/9 BB/K ratio and 12 stolen bases. I wouldn't be as stoked to see this if he wasn't just 16, but the Braves haven't had a stand out in the summer leagues in a LONG time.
For his sake, I hope the fact that he wasn't even a full-time pitcher until his second year at Air Force has preserved his arm to a degree. He doesn't have a ton of mileage on it and he's slowly ramped up the innings over time between college and the Majors.By the way, is Paul Skenes an actual human? Lowest ERA to start a career in over a century. He's doing stuff that hasn't been seen since the dead ball era.
