American Democracy Might Not Survive a War With Iran
The United States is well down the road to dictatorship. Imagine what Trump would do with a state of war.

In retrospect, Clinton was not really a bad president lol.. comparatively speaking to Biden, Obama etc.. Clinton could at least compromise and go to the middle when he needed, and somehow not manage to pi$$ off the far Left loonies.. pretty skillful actually
True. It’s the people who we all used to laugh at and make fun of (collectively) are now being taken seriously .. that is the biggest shift that I have seen during my lifetime with the exception of technology lol.. that, and we can’t have fun and joke about things anymoreThere weren't as many Bernie Sanders back then because it wasn't popular or allowed to fester. These types of people were fringe.
We didn't have as many immigrants - legal or illegal gaining foothold in this country to be society disruptors.
Social media and the Woke Movement have grown exponentially in recent years.

Eh, no. They had a different outlook. More centrist, less antagonistic, more educated.
You don't think the left think they are more educated today? Whether you group them as democrats, progressives, liberals, the left or something else they think they are more educated. They seem to have less life practical skills and have learned in the Arts of Indoctrination.
No dancing. You might want to look at the election maps for 92 and 96. Clinton wasn't the loud showman that Trump is and didn't pander to the lowest common denominator like Trump does. Not that he was all that great but he wasn't MAGA and his base wasn't MAGA.So now you’re dancing. And the Democrats then are dead now or 50+ and far from the progressive movement that took over the party.
Elitists have always been that way.You don't think the left think they are more educated today? Whether you group them as democrats, progressives, liberals, the left or something else the the elitist think they are more educated. They carry it as a smug, badge of honor. They seem to have less life practical skills and have learned in the Arts of Indoctrination.
Hold on……you’re not saying we should cut spending are you?Goldman Sachs says Trump’s spending plan won’t stop the national debt from hitting ‘unsustainable’ highs not seen since World War II

The WW2 generation Democrats took a little while to gravitate towards Clinton. That being said, the Democrats this century, especially the last 12 years or so have gotten stupid and catered to the progressive fringe of the party and completely shut out the moderates. It's ok to include the progressives, but policy positions must cater to the middle 50 and not the fringe. As terrible a candidate as Harris was, Trump still didn't even garner a mandate. That's just how bad our candidates have been the last 12 years and reinforces the opinion that people are voting for the lesser of two evilsSo now you’re dancing. Agree on the Dems being used as a Trojan horse by the progressives. My 75 year old Jimmy Carter/JFK loving mom is forgotten although she won’t leave the party. Disagree on the Trump part being the lesser of two evils. He’s just the one who disrupted the status quo.The WW2 generation Democrats took a little while to gravitate towards Clinton.
