In two years I think he'll finally have a QB pipeline established and offense will look much closer to HH than Joe or Nico. I think the defense will continue to excel. I think we will be in playoff contention most years. For me, that's enough.

I think we'll be in a title game or very close to it by '27. I thought we'd be in that position this year before Nico decided to murder his career. I guess we still could if Aguilar has a good year.

If our defense is the same and offense improves, which isnt a ridiculous task, we could be back in the playoffs.

Isn't a knock on Aguilar the number of interceptions he gives up?

Shouldn't be. His TD/int ratio is better than guys like LSU's "Heisman candidate" Nussmeier.

That was the thing when he first got here we expected it though I believe..defense was suspect due to us having no depth or talent. fast forward now his baby (offense) is regressing and we never expected that…I’m satisfied with how far we’ve come on defense until we go man or was it zone we were bad in?..either way I’m content with the defense.im not implying a title is out of reach entirely.im just saying from a coaches standpoint it’s not with this staff as a whole.definitely some weak links in the chain.

I’m glad you were nice responding. i appreciate that I sounded like a dick but those weren’t my intentions…I’m just curious about the floor and ceiling given how everything has unfolded lately..as for the future we definitely need upgraded staff pieces in order to win a title..we got out coached in big prime time games (Ohio st and Arkansas) and some others we squeaked out but should have been a blowout.a win is a win though.
