You go out of your way to find the most negative interpretation of every fact. Must be miserable.
Peaked? . . the playoffs with a rs freshman QB in his 4th year after taking over a dumpster fire?I mean it’s not exactly an over the top assessment…it’s fair..I’ve seen far worse takes on here. by the numbers and what he inherited from the beginning I’m happy with his results. JH pulled us out of a deep hole in all fairness…but i think he’s peaked personally…fair question for you is where do you expect us to be in 2 years?..with how long JH has been here..what’s the floor and what’s the ceiling?..I’m curious
Well, for starters Heupel didn’t just start running his offense when he got here. Go back a little over a decade and see how it looksI guess I keep wondering why, if it's so QB friendly, two of the three QBs Heupel has trotted out there couldn't run it so well? Hooker, Milton and Nico....and Heupel didn't recruit Hooker. What am I missing?
You have 2 or 3 different arguments going on hereI think you're missing the fact that this offense is a gimmick that's been figured out. I also think you're missing the weak evals and coaching at the position.
So if he had better evaluations and trusted his QBs, the play calling would be better and the gimmick offense that’s been figured out would work again? Got itThe want to might be there, but he doesn't have the confidence in his QBs to let 'em just play. Hence the timid play calling. And yeah, that's on Heupel. He chose Milton and Nico. Bad evals. Backed into/inherited Hooker so he gets no credit for that.
Peaked? Goodness no.I mean it’s not exactly an over the top assessment…it’s fair..I’ve seen far worse takes on here. by the numbers and what he inherited from the beginning I’m happy with his results.
