'26 MS WR Tristen Keys (lsu commit)

Not if they’re already paying their guys more money.

But if you think for a second that every WR in that room wouldn’t want to renegotiate after we gave a HS WR $1M then you’re wrong.
why wouldn't lsu have to renegotiate? why does it seem to only impact our room? and i am referencing the mass exodus, to a skeleton crew we have now.

I could be wrong, but I dont see this type of player moving to another program once he's committed.

Def see him being a three year player, if healthy. Def also see him being the type player that HELPS change that negative narrative that Tennessee cant recruit, develop, and send WR's to the league.

They wouldn’t need to if they’re already paying their WRs more than what we’re paying ours. Their NIL budget for football just might be more than UT’s. Not saying that’s the case, only that it could be.

It doesn’t only impact our room. This is just the only team you follow closely. A lot of programs have similar NIL budgets in football that we do and are constantly having to balance things. Other programs have more.

How do you know that? I could be John Adams, or Jimmy Hyams and a closet Corndog or Cousin Lover fan.

Let them ORIGINALLY go elsewhere and IF they pan out, invite them thru the portal. Probably get a bigger bang for the buck that way instead of funding the development year. Losing them or getting them out of HS has less significance than the old days. Celebrating or moaning is pretty useless.
Sure thing

Seems like a smart well spoken kid. Always loves it here. Gotta give it to staff getting him back on campus. But how many times have we said that?

Good luck to Tristen, he's extremely talented and seems to be outgoing. One of my fave cruits, even since Poly Bowl.

Would love to see he and Faizon break records.

This is why WRs can start as freshman and sophomores instead of riding the bench until they become upperclassmen. That is pretty much the only position where that is the case in the SEC.
It’s more difficult to do that in our offense because of the reads receivers have to make on all the option routes and switch releases we do. It’s honestly why we need to make some adjustments too. Had we ran some more traditional passing concepts we likely could’ve gotten Matthews and Staley more involved in the passing game last year
