'26 MS WR Tristen Keys (lsu commit)

We shall see.

Probably not bc most likely we’ll never hear about it unless a player’s agent puts it out there to put more pressure on the staff. So many contracts / NIL are renegotiated all the time. We rarely hear about it bc it’s bad business by the agent to put that out there. Putting a sour taste in school’s mouth for the next time you’re trying to get more money for your guy or you have another client at same school.

If the dude can produce for the Vols why does it matter how they project in the nfl?

Pro production is a more accurate measure of his talent than college production which is more varied due to difference in talent between college teams. Basically a guy can look great in college but not really be that great.

I think Tristen Keys is good. But he's not worth getting into a bidding war over. Use the money he's seeking to sign 3-4 other quality players.

The Parker comparison isn't bad.

Keys is faster and a much better athlete at this stage in their HS careers but they play very similar. Parker was very acrobatic in the air with strong hands.

Yeah we just get to watch guys like this go to places like LSU or OSU and completely ball out and become high draft picks.

Let them ORIGINALLY go elsewhere and IF they pan out, invite them thru the portal. Probably get a bigger bang for the buck that way instead of funding the development year. Losing them or getting them out of HS has less significance than the old days. Celebrating or moaning is pretty useless.
