OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

… we can start with this. The title.
Next thing is casting…
I just realized that with today's technology, we could cast blondes from long ago!

young ingenue blonde: Marilyn Monroe

dangerous blonde: Rita Hayworth (Freudians take note at 01:08)

smart blonde: Gloria Grahame

sincere, delicate, street wise blonde: Veronica Lake (the guy in the clip is a big Hollywood director in disguise to research what it's like to be poor in the Great Depression)

tough, sharp-witted, heart o' gold 1930s blonde: Joan Blondell

Welcome to the ladies I would have had a thing for, if I'd lived back then.

I'm right behind you w/my tongue hanging out. Rita Hayworth was a true Goddess.

In the first photo w/Marilyn Monroe is George Sanders. Later on, in the 1967 animated Disney picture The Jungle Book, they used his voice for the character of Shere Kahn (Tiger). I always found his voice in that movie as unique and fascinating. I've watched the movie 100x I bet.
