OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

I grew up thinking redheads were genetic freaks. Loved blondes in the '60s... then had a thing for short-haired brunettes in the '70s... then a thing for my wife's beautiful hair (from its auburn highlighted brown youth to its salt & pepper days) but now it's redheads (as well as, age appropriately, grey-silver-white heads) who catch my eye in a crowd.

🤔 So here's the question: if I'm no longer in my procreating years and I now prefer redheads, does that mean that--from an evolutionary psychology vantagepoint--that redheads really are considered genetic outliers? 🧬

If so... viva la outliers!
I LOVE them ALL!!!

… we can start with this. The title.
Next thing is casting…
I've seen the script.

There's no dialogue, just facial expressions. (...along with crossing and uncrossing of legs)

Blonde #1: Open mouth as if about to say something, pause, then roll eyes to upper right.
Tilt head ... bite lower lip and now tilt head to opposite side ... look down ... purse lips and look toward lower right ... look into camera, then giggle and bat eyelashes self-consciously.

👍Looks like it'll make money!

From her Facebook page. With no make up & her hair isn't done in a sexy way.
Its called A Reality Check.
This is why we tell boys to marry that girl who has inner beauty. Life, gravity, responsibility, and living with us is gonna take a toll on the beauty of a woman's youth. But if she's a diamond through and through... as you age together, she will come to define what you think of as beautiful.

(Man! Between pecan pie and Brian Wilson's death, and the titmice teaching their young how to open safflower seeds, not 4 feet away from where I'm sitting on the deck... I'm really in a life-contemplative frame of mind!)

Get me outa this, MAD! Got a meme for somber-atude?
