When you suppress any and all fun like baseball has for decades, you get mostly the bad eggs who break the rules to have fun, and sometimes do it in a bad egg kind of way.Chipper was a great player. He's just from a different generation.
I don't think he's entirely wrong. Some of the antics you see from today's college players ( and some MLB) are over the top
Probably, but on this topic..."emotional support" animals are stupid. Scumbags just abuse this crap to take their pets everywhere they go and make everyone else's day suck.Ai generated….
i feel bad for the poor basta*d that has to correct the issue. talk about a sh*tty job.My Wife and Daughter are on a flight to London. School EF Guided tour. Flight had to emergency land at JFK because someone clogged the lavatory toilet. I’m not joking. Courtesy flush please. Thatis crazy. Flights are grounded for many reasons. Never heard of one because Cousin Eddie said the Shitter was full.

I don't think talking to a golfer, or any player in any sport, or the coaches..on the court, on the field, on the course in the middle of live fire competition is good for anyone involved...those guys are under extreme pressure and need their focus on one thing...planning and hitting the shot, running the play, figuring out plays to run, making personnel decisions...etc etc etc..Agree...I hate those interviews. I also hate the on field interviews in college football right when the game is starting. They don't add anything to the broadcast.
Darn it Ulyssees. I want to see ya post one thing that is all Rainbows and Buterflies.I don't think talking to a golfer, or any player in any sport, or the coaches..on the court, on the field, on the course in the middle of live fire competition is good for anyone involved...those guys are under extreme pressure and need their focus on one thing...planning and hitting the shot, running the play, figuring out plays to run, making personnel decisions...etc etc etc..

See...this is what I appreciate about you as a poster on VN. Yesterday you told me "f you commie" and today we're in agreement. Maybe it's a little twisted of me, but I enjoy your posts...you're transparent and can hate everyone equally. Hope you're having a great day today.I don't think talking to a golfer, or any player in any sport, or the coaches..on the court, on the field, on the course in the middle of live fire competition is good for anyone involved...those guys are under extreme pressure and need their focus on one thing...planning and hitting the shot, running the play, figuring out plays to run, making personnel decisions...etc etc etc..

Its dismissive, meaning other did not fully listen to any thing other said. its disrespectful, but we all do it in one form or another. i'm just as guilty. No, but it's kind of the go-to for some folks when they don't like someone else's opinion. It's a quick and easy response...so I guess it has its place.
Agreed, though the MLB has loosened up a lot. Players are cutting loose a lot more than they did in the previous generation. When you suppress any and all fun like baseball has for decades, you get mostly the bad eggs who break the rules to have fun, and sometimes do it in a bad egg kind of way.
The Savannah Bananas being more expensive than Yankees Dodgers tickets is a testament to Americans' appetite for fun baseball instead of the bland, boring product of the mlb.
Not sure about straight laced, the MLB had dudes drinking and doing coke between at bats in the 80s lolAgreed, though the MLB has loosened up a lot. Players are cutting loose a lot more than they did in the previous generation.
MLB went from gritty angry men in the 70s, to very uptight and straight laced in the 80s and 90s, and then slowly transitioned to something more fun in the early 2000s to today. They had to lighten up a little bit because it was getting so boring that fans stopped watching.
