He was a great player but he was one of the biggest crybabies in the league.

I agree, I think he is off too. Every game in baseball on TV, college and pros, they talk to the managers. In the NBA, they talk to players and managers at timeouts. Just the way the world is now. He can whine about it, but it's not going back.

Chipper was my favorite player growing up and I also love how the game is evolving to show more emotion 🤷🏻‍♂️. Baseball isn’t golf. Have some fun. Talk that sh*t.

College baseball with its antics is an elite product imo. Eventually everyone else will catch on.

I guess my mind is slipping, I've watched the Braves since the 80's. Almost every game. I don't remember Chipper ever crying or being labeled a crybaby. Maybe there was an isolated time or two

It seems like you are just upset he called out the players in today's colleges Baseball

The era Chipper played in, this nonsense wasn't allowed. You know what I mean showing a pitcher up after taking him out of the park. Next at bat you got a baseball to the rib cage.. it was frowned upon..plus these are kids playing College Baseball let them get the showboating out of their system.

Different generations do different things.

Moms AND Dads, both, these days have tats, flat bills, beads/nose piercings, drive Jeeps/big trucks, and spend hours and hours on muscles, and dollars on themselves. They bag their dog poop and leave it outside on the curb, they whoop and holler in public, and park in fire lanes. Sense of self ishness, more than Ive ever seen. Lots travel overseas, and do nothing but post about it on Insta.

At times it gets annoying, because its a culture thing. That i'm not apart of. Then I realize how insignificant all that is. And how little bearing it has on me.

Bringing it home, i'm not 21. I'm 47, Doyle's motion affects me, in no way.

The players that have their shirts unbuttoned halfway with no undershirt look trashy and unprofessional. I like all the emotion and celebration within your own team. Butt hurt actions directed toward the other team cross the line. For me, that doesn't include players jawing a little. That's part of the game.
