I guess only if they felt that women are inherently intellectually weaker than men for the job of President, as girls are inherently physically weaker than boys in physical competitions?

Yea I don’t expect an answer. I mean WTH are “trans rights”? Forcing normal people to play along with the delusions of the mentally ill? If you have preferred pronouns keep them to yourself. If you want to pretend to be something you’re not then go for it, don’t expect me to participate. If in a situation where forced to interact I’ll be as cordial to you as you are to me.

I wonder what the next frontier is for gay folks rights? Years ago trannies were just trannies, gay dudes cosplaying as gay chicks. Now its the hot button issue. Once no one cares about that/they/thems, who next? Because there has to be a next. Can't sit on your laurels and be content because just like women do, there is always something to complain about.

The fundamental issue here isn't about sports. The white elephant in the room is the issue of "can you change your sex"? Trans supporters think that you can. They think that trans female really is a female and should be treated as such. When this happens can be debated but at some point in the transition, supporters think that the person really has changed sexes. The more reasonable folks IMO, say "you can take hormones, you can cross dress, you can get parts chopped off or added, but your sex does NOT change. You are still who you are." True believers in the trans movement can't go there. They'll call you a transphobe if you won't go along with their thinking that sex can truly be changed. I won't even go into the issue of gender 'cause that's irrelevant and just muddies the water. Things like bathrooms, locker rooms and sports should be separate based on one's sex, not gender

I've actually had some discussions with people and after some general ruminations here's kinda the opinion I've formed.

I don't think there anything that actually defaults to pedo behavior in being trans. Closer to your point there is something in the trans idea that is very much coveted by the pedos, which is accepted normalization. How they feel is how they feel, right? Why should they be hated? We should all just accept and understand the whole "minor attracted persons" bit since it works for "those people". The other side of that is the kids themselves. Of course the pedos would happily assert that if a 10yo Michael is mentally capable of deciding to be Michelle, complete with medical intervention no less, then surely they're are capable of choosing what age partners they can associate with sexually, right?

I'm not saying it'll stick but the acceptance of youth trans opens up a POV for the MAPs they didn't have before and anyone that thinks otherwise is kidding (wait, no) fooling themselves.

I’m somewhere in the middle of all of this. I do think they’re born this way like a woman in a males body for example, however I do have issues with even then saying ok you’re a woman now when they’re born male. I’ll even call them she/her if they want, but deep down I can’t rationalize calling a biological male a female. Sure out of respect I’ll be respectful about it and call them what they please.

I too am polite when socializing with them and will attempt to use their preferred names and pronouns but that doesn't mean I'm buying into this. Nor does it mean I think it's OK to play in girls sports

Let's go into your "brain" issue here. First of all I don't know about a brain being male or female. Can an autopsy determine sex if all they can find is the brain? I doubt it. There are factual ways to determine your sex. You may "feel" like you're a female in a male body but that doesn't make it so. Regardless of your feelings, you are a male. It's not an opinion that needs debate. It's fact in 99% of cases. If we say it's debatable then we open ourselves up to one saying that I'm a cat trapped inside a human body. If you say that you are mentally ill and need help. I say the same about trans folks
