That really is the issue. If you are going to pitch to her, you pitch around her. You don’t go middle/middle two pitches in a row. You make her chase something or take her base. If she puts a weak ball in play, so be it, but don't let one swing of the bat beat you.

how about not walking the lead-off batter (#7 hitter) on 4 pitches -- could have avoided the HR hitter entirely

Goodness !! I’m just speechless .. really thought they had this game .. will agree with most, maybe should have walked her .. gave her good pitches for sure.. that took the wind out the sails super quick !! Bummer !!

Weekly's her and Ralph both cannot make in game decisions to give their team a chance to win. KP just pitched her ass off all for nothing. If we had put down a bunt in the top of 7th would have scored another run. Leach would have gotten the bunt down if Karen had not called it off. It's unbelievable how we manage lose big games in OKC.

THEN, she pitched to the only hitter that was capable of walking us off. This a thousand times. With the 7-9 batters up, you aggressively go at them and if you give up a hit or even homer to them, you did it aggressively but to walk a lower batter and then pitch aggressively to the only person to hurt you today is head scratching from a COACHING perspective.

Wow that one hurts and will be impossible to come back from. Even if we win against Florida, we have to beat Oklahoma or Texas, then beat the winner of those two twice. Wow that’s an impossible task for any team. Go Vols do the impossible.

I will be honest, I do not think Volunteers will be able to recover from this, look at the Bruins-South Carolina game, South Carolina was down to their last out but Bruins hit a home run to win the game in game 2 and South Carolina could not recover from the loss in game 3

I agree. Stick a fork in em. They had thier chance and it was an awesome opportunity but per usual can't stop from pissing down both legs. Unfortunate

do u all look at the bracket before you post. the winner of TN and FL would flip to the other bracket and face someone on the other side. we wouldn’t face OK until the finals.
