how about not walking the lead-off batter (#7 hitter) on 4 pitches -- could have avoided the HR hitter entirelyThat really is the issue. If you are going to pitch to her, you pitch around her. You don’t go middle/middle two pitches in a row. You make her chase something or take her base. If she puts a weak ball in play, so be it, but don't let one swing of the bat beat you.
Weekly's her and Ralph both cannot make in game decisions to give their team a chance to win. KP just pitched her ass off all for nothing. If we had put down a bunt in the top of 7th would have scored another run. Leach would have gotten the bunt down if Karen had not called it off. It's unbelievable how we manage lose big games in OKC.What else is new
It’s basically a free swing for the fences. Nothing for us to gain by pitching to her but everything to lose. We deserve better coaching! That really is the issue. The poor coaching decisions started with not sending Mealer home on the double. Then, she followed that up by not even challenging the double play where Morgan was clearly safe. THEN, she pitched to the only hitter that was capable of walking us off. Those decisions, coupled with all the missed opportunities for extra runs and ending three of the last four innings with double plays is how you dominate an entire game but still lose.Coaching malpractice and a meatball right down the middle
leach does not have a single bunt the entire season. genuinely, what makes you think she gets it down?Weekly's her and Ralph both cannot make in game decisions to give their team a chance to win. This right here. I was just to lazy to type all that. The poor coaching decisions started with not sending Mealer home on the double. And you never let the other team’s best hitter beat you, if you can avoid it.The poor coaching decisions started with not sending Mealer home on the double. This a thousand times. With the 7-9 batters up, you aggressively go at them and if you give up a hit or even homer to them, you did it aggressively but to walk a lower batter and then pitch aggressively to the only person to hurt you today is head scratching from a COACHING perspective.how about not walking the lead-off batter (#7 hitter) on 4 pitches -- could have avoided the HR hitter entirely
do u think the pitches told KP to walk the 7 hole hitter. she missed her spots. it happens. This a thousand times. Same ole song and dance with CKW. We go home in two after that gut punch. CKW just can’t coach in the WCWS. She is a winner but she coaches scared in big games. Go Lady Vols. Wow that one hurts and will be impossible to come back from. Even if we win against Florida, we have to beat Oklahoma or Texas, then beat the winner of those two twice. Wow that’s an impossible task for any team. Go Vols do the impossible.Weekly's her and Ralph both cannot make in game decisions to give their team a chance to win. I agree. Stick a fork in em. They had thier chance and it was an awesome opportunity but per usual can't stop from pissing down both legs. UnfortunateI will be honest, I do not think Volunteers will be able to recover from this, look at the Bruins-South Carolina game, South Carolina was down to their last out but Bruins hit a home run to win the game in game 2 and South Carolina could not recover from the loss in game 3
do u all look at the bracket before you post. the winner of TN and FL would flip to the other bracket and face someone on the other side. we wouldn’t face OK until the finals.Same ole song and dance with CKW.
