Same with Kentucky and bourbon. Kentuckians will always say bourbon was first made in Kentucky. No it wasn’t, was made in Virginia. Kentucky wasn’t a state yet and where bourbon was initially distilled, it was still Virginia.

Been my stance for a minute now.
Everyone getting crazy emotional with how this season has gone up to this point, needs to look at it from a different perspective.
It definitely hurts to lose a series to our in state little sister out west, you better believe it pisses me off to drop a series to those nasty, sweaty hawgs, but never once have I been embarrassed or not proud of our team and never once have I not been proud to sport my Tennessee baseball gear.
And if this is what we get in a rebuilding year, then we progressed further, faster than I realized under Vitello.
If this is a rebuilding year, and anyone being rational, can/should admit to that, because despite what we wanted to believe, this WAS a rebuilding year, then we truly have become one of the elite powerhouses of college baseball and will be a title contender year in and year out and probably really close to the point where we actually call it reloading rather than rebuilding.
And btw...Texas still sucks VP!!

I wonder how much movement it's realistic to expect if we win vs Vandy and LSU/Ole Miss... I don't see our seeding jumping to where we're hosting supers or anything, but it does seem like it'd make a difference in whether we land with Vandy again, UNC, Georgia maybe. It'd be something to win the SEC championship and that bump us all the way up to a super in Oregon instead of down the road.

I wish we could convince Freak to post what it was that got him the temporary axe, we could all use a good laugh and anyone new rarely finds their way over to the dugout anyway.

They wanted me on the debate team but I debated my way out of it. I did get an award for tutoring half the basketball team though to keep them academically eligible 🤣
