President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

All threats of violence against the President are looked into by the Secret Service. The issue here is whether or not what James Comey posted constituted a violent threat. When used as a verb, the number "86" does not have to involve an act of violence.

In an episode of Cheers from 1987, Rebecca Howe (Kirstie Alley) tells Woody Boyd (Woody Harrelson) to "86" the ferns. She was telling him to throw away the plant decorations. I'm not sure I've ever heard it used as a threat of violence against a person. It's a silly thing to get your panties in a twist over.
In other words, to kill the plants. I don't think your example helped your argument

The former Director of FBI, Justice is Blind, is at minimum a POS for such a comment and points right to his political bias. Bet no one on here would post it on their social platform.
It’s what you send your group chat for laughs of likeminded people, not a former FBI director o a social media platform.

Mob terms 86 means - drive 8 miles out of town and bury 6 feet deep. Cheers was a nice show, but bad reference to real life.

Yeah a us potus meeting with Saudis is clearly unprecedented. Aligning our country with some of the worst people in this world. Progress!
....This isn't surprising from Trump...
Are you some kind of crazy partisan junk poster? Completely oblivious? Or dragging out an unfunny joke? I don't get it.

You know about Clinton, Gore, Obama, Hillary, and Biden meeting with the Saudis, right?

OMG.

If you are drawing a parallel between the discarding of plants in a bar with violence against a human being? Then there really is at least one deranged poster on this forum, and that would be you. You can't be serious with this.

.... and for what it's worth, when you Google "86" .... you get the following under AI Overview :

The term "86" has several meanings, including "to refuse service" or "to get rid of" in restaurants and bars. It can also refer to the country code for China (+86). Additionally, "86" is a popular anime series based on a light novel.

1. Restaurant/Bar Slang :

* "86" means that an item is no longer available or that that a customer should be ejected from the premises.

* It's a common term in restaurants and bars to indicate that something is sold out.

* The term has also been used more broadly to mean "to get rid of" or "discard" something.

2. Country Code :

* +86 is the international calling code for China.

3. Anime/Light Novel :

* "86 - Eighty Six" is a popular Japanese anime and light novel series.

* The series is about a war between two countries using unmanned drones, but the human pilots are treated as disposable.

* The anime series premiered in 2021 and is available on streaming services like Crunchyroll.

4. Other Meanings :

* "86" can also refer to the character Agent 86 (Maxwell Smart) from the TV show "Get Smart."

* There is a 2017 web series called "Eighty-Sixed."

* The term "86" has also been used in the context of a social media post by James Comey, triggering controversy.

No adult human being should be as hyper-sensitive as you seem to be, Snowflake. When used as a verb "86" is a slang term primarily used in restaurants and bars for discarding or removing something. To draw an equation between that and a violent act against a person is beyond ridiculous. I can easily believe that you are this stupid .... but no male adult should be so sensitive. You desperately need to grow a pair.

Look ... another snowflake .....

86 has multiple meanings when used as a verb. It is slang .....

When mobsters are talking about killing someone, terminology such as "whack" are much more common. You guys are being ridiculous, and it has everything to do with your politically tribal nature. You are actively seeking to be offended.

Grow a pair, why don't you, Princess?

He struggles trying to connect the points. You’ve jumped the shark when you quote Cheers from 1987.
Hey, Princess Snowflake ....

Google "86."

I guarantee you that the first thing you will find under AI overview, will be these words:

"The term "86" is a restaurant and bar slang term meaning "to remove" or "get rid of" something, such as a menu item or a customer who is no longer welcome. It can also be used in a more general sense to mean to discard or reject something. The origin of the term is thought to be from the 1930's, where it referred to an item that was sold out at a soda fountain or lunch counter."

The Cheers example I gave was therefore, highly relevant, to the slang terminology of the number "86" when used as a verb.

On top of being a sensitive little daisy, you are an ignorant and childishly simple-minded fool.

Thanks, worked in restaurants in college. Since you need Google, see how the mob uses it. Thanks for playing.

The terrorist sympathizer comment broke you didn’t it.

It is quite surprising how sensitive MAGA has suddenly become on this issue.

As I already said, Princess Snowflake .... when used as a verb, it has several meanings, but it's most commonly used as restaurant and bar slang. It has been used as mob slang for a hit .... but "whack" or "whacked" are much more common. Having seen The Godfather movies and all of Scorsese and DeNiro films, I have never heard "86" applied when referencing a mob hit. It's always "whack him" or "whacked him."

No adult male should be THIS sensitive. You are actively seeking to be offended. It's pathetic.

So you base your post off movies and 80’s TV Classics. Nice!

No .... if you have read my posts, Princess Snowflake, then you know that I have based my posts off of the meanings as provided by my Google searches. The most common usage of "86" as a verb is from restaurant and bar slang, you sensitive little daisy flower,
