My daughter teaches 5th Grade in Nashville...in her class is the Great, Great Grandson of Earl Scruggs...whose Daddy is one of The Fabulous Superlatives...her student at age 10 performed on-stage at the GOO WITH Marty Stuart a few months ago...and my daughter was asked by his family to be there, as she encourages and nurtures music with her students...she got to meet everyone backstage and cheer for her student...(and get a "shout-Out" by him from the stage, as she'd taken her class on a tour of RCA studio-B the day before)...*Google THAT one...I met Marty Stuart once here in Jackson back in the 1990s. I know .... Nobody cares.

No ..... that's just age when it finally hits you one day. You'll see. With womenMan she fell off a cliff. Looks like she taste tested her food a little too much over the years.
I stay moderately active at least and don’t really drink sodas and don’t drink alcoholic beverages much anymore so I’m trying to stay ahead of that curve. I know Father Time always wins but the way she looks, it appears she had some stuff going on, got depressed and let herself go. It’s unfortunate because she was a beauty. No ..... that's just age when it finally hits you one day. You'll see. With women
it all goes south by that I mean gravity & age will take over at a certain age.
You can last only so long on that recipe bc I was there too at one point.I stay moderately active at least and don’t really drink sodas and don’t drink alcoholic beverages much anymore so I’m trying to stay ahead of that curve. I remember waiting in the driveway for my Dad to get home so that we could play catch. I remember one time he said he was tired and wanted to go inside. The sinking feeling I never forgot.Weekends...Monday’s...Wednesday’s...Thursdays...
I remember growing up, my dad worked 2 jobs and yet never missed a football game, a baseball practice, never once.
I know the man was worn out but every time I looked to the stands or the sidelines, he was there cheering me on.
I never forgot that and I never will.
I made a similar promise when I was a teenager. I had to walk everywhere I went B4 I was old enough to drive a car. I promised myself in those days I would pick up those that were walking to places once I started driving. Yeah, that didn't last too long either.I remember waiting in the driveway for my Dad to get home so that we could play catch. I remember one time he said he was tired and wanted to go inside. When I became a Dad I promised myself that I would always stop what I was doing and throw that ball, or watch a trick, or what ever. I never broke that promise.
The reality is tossing that ball typically didn’t last more than 15-20 minutes. The relationship that built has come back to me 10 fold.
Just do it. I promise you won’t be sorry.
There is an old adage that says “The loudest person in the room is often the weakest”Don't believe I'm crying a river, I just made a comment about a team I follow just like you of your beloved Braves. Then you always come through with a snarky ass comment totally uncalled for. I don't say nothing derogatory about Atlanta but maybe I should start...
