When did Jordan start winning with the Bulls? I save the search. It was after the rules for fouls were changed and things like traveling and palming the ball were tolerated. The fans wanted dunks and the NBA was going to give them dunks. Your probably too young to remember when dunking didn't happen in fact it was illegal for about 30 years. Thanks to Dr J and Darryl Dawkins it became an artform.
MJ was decent at dunking only problem was that ornery men at the low post frowned on it and would rip an arm of if you tried it. Ala open the lane to dunks by changing fouls. The birth of Air Jordan.

Gotta give a lotta credit to the ABA. That league had some great talents and was a lot of FUN! And that ball....fantastic! Wish we used them in the game today. Ray Mears approves of this message BTW.
