I added:

no one is forced to buy/take meds. if a doc says you have an illness and need to take med x for it, then you can;
1 take the med
2 not take the med and remain sick or die

you have options, pharma forces nothing upon you.

people (adults) have to take personal responsibility for their own life, health, well being without someone standing over them all the time telling them how to manage their life.

That's a false choice. Not taking a drug doesn't mean you will die. They are simply making it easier to spend a lifetime unhealthy while pharma squeezes the profits out. The govt incentivizes that and needs to stop

I am against ethanol, its purely political.

I believe most corn grown goes to feed cattle so you can have corn feed beef on the table. So what is the issue with corn?

due to advance tech, farming is far more efficient than decades ago. farmers basically shoot themselves in the foot by overproducing creating huge supplies and lower profits. retailers set their own prices thereby insuring a profit, farmers must sell at current market price therefore not make much if prices are low. food prices need to be kept low as possible yet leave farming profitable.

there will be people that will die without meds,,,,,meds are prolonging their life.

Feeding animals with it is not optimal. It's just a cheap way to mass farm. Then there's hfcs

No, did doesn't need to be kept cheap as that leads to negative outcomes. Worry about nutrition before worrying about the cost of processed crap

food does need to be kept cheap for the masses to afford it. You want a 3rd world country with people skinny, malnurished?

earlier you complained about gov't setting prices, but you seem to be for the gov't determining what people can or cannot eat.

My daughter was perscribed very small dose of medication for anxiety. One of the noted side effects was diarrhea. She said "so my overall anxiety will be better but my anxiety towards having diarrhea will increase. Don't know if I like that deal." I was pretty proud
