My coworker says Blacksburg is like Athens in that it basically grew around, and because of, the university and that it’s the definition of a college townLooks cool as crap. Kinda reminds of hwat Neyland would look like 70 years ago. Blacksburg is a strange city. VPI is spread out, Stadium just on the lip of Campus. Its a beautiful campus, minus the older aquatic center.
Kinda reminds me of a smaller school that blew up but wanted to remain small. You know, opposite of TN.
there is engineering and medical but that's about it. roanoke is a dandy but if you aren't in engineering professional or banking... you're in the rough part of townMy coworker says Blacksburg is like Athens in that it basically grew around, and because of, the university and that it’s the definition of a college town
There's insanely more competition than in the 80s. Comparing about 200 million almost all US population vs countries totaling billions today. Tons of Africans, Europeans, South Americans. Same reason American-borb baseball players eventually got squeezed out.He would still be skinny Lebron if he played during the 80’s. The average height was the same during the 80’s and verticals were estimated to be similar.
"Could potentially". How are they gonna coordinate with no weapons? Best they could do is attack with 10 men at a time. A gorilla can bench press 20 200lb men. That's just it's arms.
Also, coordination is a big problem with a wild animal. Men need to think. A wild ass animal just acts. While we're planning on what to do he's already ripped through 40 of us.
Metallica is grandpa rock at this point.I'm way too old for flat bills. You do realize that Metallica has been around since the early 80s. I'm betting at least half the crowd will be over 40 years old. They're dad rock at this point.
It was settled a couple of days ago by me and @SugarCC. It's Larry Bird..... he's the greatest of his era.
