Ah. You’re probably right. @CAVPUT probably typed Wilkerson instead of Wilkinson because he’s old and senile.Jeremiah Wilkinson, transfer from Cal committed to Georgia (but not clear if signed...) who has ties to new assistant coach Amorrow Morgan

Yes to both posts.Ah. You’re probably right. @CAVPUT probably typed Wilkerson instead of Wilkinson because he’s old and senile.
Was just thinking the same. Not sure who they have in the front court but they’ve spent a couple of truck loads of $$$ for backcourt guys.USC gets less from more than any team in the nation it seems like. They've signed quite a few 5 star guys, they get good transfers and they suck all the time. They must have a mega donor or two, because they don't have a large fanbase in general.
I was told by my friend that he wasn’t going to go to a sec school. I think Travis could have gone to a smaller school and killed it but I wish him the best of luck at ole miss
Yea, Vandy was hot on his trail too, they thought they were going to get him but Ole Miss raised their offer. That was where he wanted to go but he was hoping for a solid $$$ amount, they came in lower than he thought and then Vandy pursued with a better offer, but he leveraged that into more and closer to what he was hoping for originally from OM.Beard was basically publicly recruiting him. Was gassing him up not long ago. When I saw that, I assumed there was real interest.
Most recruits probably want to sign with that Power 5 type school as opposed to going to a smaller school but I can't help but wonder if guys like Boswell, Brown and Henderson would be better off getting playing time at the college level, even a smaller mid major than sitting on the bench at a place like Tennessee. With the rich raiding the smaller schools every year with NIL money, fewer freshman seem like they are getting real opportunities at Power 5 schools unless they are truly elite right out of high school. I suspect Boswell could have showed out at a smaller school and could demand real NIL money now.Case by case, again Boswell is the most recent example of sticking around. However a year before that Phillips & Estrella neither played a ton, both of those guys stuck around because the staff wanted them here and I’m sure got a nice little NIL bump to help make that decision easier. If we look at next years roster for example I think most agree Henderson & Brown right now probably are the end of bench guys that won’t see much run, however the staff really likes both and if both show well this year in practice and fit into the culture I absolutely could see the staff wanting to bring both back and making that clear to them.
I think this is also where taking lower ranked guys to fill those spots maybe is a good idea, you have a Cameron Carr and even though he hasn’t played at all really he was higher ranked and a player talked about, so his market was pretty good as far as NIL goes, much higher than what someone with his stats normally would demand. A guy like Henderson a year from now if he hasn’t played isn’t going to really have much of a NIL demand, he was committed to Fordham and not a ranked guy, similar for Brown, although he was ranked, not a highly ranked guy and didn’t have a huge list of schools pursuing him, he probably won’t have a bunch of schools beating down his door promising more money.
I wonder this a lot too. Silver lining is saving tread on the tires. But there’s also a lot of game time experience being thrown out the window. Personal preference i guess. Most recruits probably want to sign with that Power 5 type school as opposed to going to a smaller school but I can't help but wonder if guys like Boswell, Brown and Henderson would be better off getting playing time at the college level, even a smaller mid major than sitting on the bench at a place like Tennessee.
