Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Nothing warms my heart more than getting off at the Lenior City exit, looking to my left and seeing a dude holding a cardboard sign saying "TRYING MY BEST. NOT GIVING UP" and then looking to my right and seeing a big "NOW HIRING" sign at the Krystal. 🙄
I have given to two panhandlers in my day, both made me bust out laughing. The first was this guy standing on the street outside a downtown restaurant. His sign read, "I'm not gonna lie, I'm broke and I really need a beer."
The other was out in front of Walmart. He was a big ole fat boy with his dog and his sign said "Need money, Starving." The dude was four bills if he was an ounce.

Lol Bro is not a recruiting guru he's a mergers and acquisition savant.

He reminds me of a guy I worked for in Mt. Juliet. He would build a business up, sell the business, stay on as president, run it into the ground, buy the business back, rinse and repeat. His nickname that he absolutely loved was Shady Grady.

No problem. I’m not a Champaign connoisseur. But my dad used to own a liquor store, and he gave me a bottle for our wedding almost 17 years ago. It was the best I had ever had. That’s what I buy for people because I’ve actually had it.
We have a porch for baseball and for our daughter’s graduation did a Veuve theme. Veuve is the perfect color for a Tennessee graduation. Everyone liked it just fine!

Starting on May 1 back in 1982, the “world came to Knoxville.”

From May until October that year, more than 11 million people from across the globe embraced the cultures of 22 countries in Knoxville for the World’s Fair.

Steelers vs Patriots preseason game…..
Vols defeated Bama ……

What great memories…….
