Recruiting Football Talk VIII

If I lived in Knoxville, I'd try to have season tix for football, basketball and baseball. You'd have to be considering Lady Vols as well. I'd probably ask my neighbors to go in on a co-op of some sort to get tix for everything . Everyone splits them to take different weeks/games, or take the neighborhood kids.

The university is spoiling the local fans with quality teams. Most major cities only have 1, MAYBE 2 good franchises. Some don't have any.

I liked those deals where you get 3 games. Usually 1 good 1 a mid game and a cupcake.

I see that more as Heupel wanting folks to quit talking about Nico more so than a tell that Aguilar is definitely the starter. JMO.

I'm only 37 but had several spots on my face removed yesterday and sent off for biopsy. Played baseball, soccer, and football from 5 yrs old through college intramurals. Mostly back before everybody was sunscreen savvy, and never used it except when going to the beach or a pool. Now I keep a wide-brimmed hat and long sleeve UPF shirt on when I'm outside for long periods. Love the ones from academy even in summer. Can't say I miss getting sunburnt

We used to put afrosheen on and lay out on the boat. Sunscreen pfft gotta get this tan. Boy were we clueless.

Veuve is crap Champagne with a good marketing department. Dom has really escalated in price over the last few vintages, but it's really good Champagne.

Sorry if I came across as an *******. Veuve is most people's go-to champagne because it is well marketed and they have a large production. Also, most people are afraid to experiment with producers tgat they don't know. There are way better champagnes out there for similar money though. Try to track down some Jose Dhondt or Paul Bara, for example. They have different bottlings at various price points, but even their less expensive bottlings are really goood.

No problem. I’m not a Champaign connoisseur. But my dad used to own a liquor store, and he gave me a bottle for our wedding almost 17 years ago. It was the best I had ever had. That’s what I buy for people because I’ve actually had it.
