Sorry about your friend. My wife started making me go a couple of years ago, just to be safe. I fish a lot, go to Florida to fish several times a year. Started wearing sunshirts (what i call them), and a hat several years ago.Today is the 5 year anniversary of my best friend's death from skin cancer. Was 50 years old. Left two teenage daughters behind and a grieving wife. Never would wear sunscreens and we played golf and went to many a UT game together. I have used sunscreens most of my adult life. I used to get on to him about it, but he always just shrugged his shoulders. Miss that dude badly. Maybe sunscreens can cause an issue too, but I figure the odds are better than undetected skin cancer that will kill you 100% of the time.
Off soap box.
That is eye opening, to say the least.Happy Thursday & Prayers to all of us with our battles.
May 1, 2025: Beware of the work of the enemy to seduce you into old addictions whether it be drugs, alcohol, food, or the need for approval. Set a watch and refuse the temptations that seem so tantalizing. Rise up in the strength of the Spirit and overcome, says the Lord. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
