Is he referring to that or is he staying that the meaning of the tattoos is ms13...a teardrop tattoo doesn't spell out that you killed someone either..but you see someone with a teardrop tattoo and you can reasonably assume they have killed someone and or are in a gang..

"Meaning" is what the reporter said, and Trump kept arguing and saying no, it's literally written on his hand. Did it several times

I'm coming into this in the middle, so I'm not sure. Are you arguing they aren't MS13 gang tattoos or that they don't literally spell out MS13?

I'm a gang/biker culture connisuer, I research this subject because I find it fascinating. that's a gang tattoo, and not a foot soldiers version either.

Both, but Trump was saying they literally spell MS13 when probably (hopefully) 99.5% of the population is smart enough to realize that's not the case

Symbolism is used often in gang graffiti, the interpretation of this tattoo is spot on. M arijuana, S miley face, cross (two meanings in this context) stylized number 1, also stands for the Trinity, so the character in itself is the stylized 1 and 3. Skull which is also often used in MS13 as a stylized number 3 in graffiti. The skull symbolism is often paired with horns that make up an often used street soldier gang sign.

Based on this tattoo he is either an associate business partner or mid level leader. Most likely the former based on this being his only tattoo (at least that I'm aware of)

The other possibility is that he's a poser who used those symbols to fake it, which I place at near zero probability. He wouldn't have made it two weeks on the streets with that tattoo.

I suggest you watch the video 5 posts up, the excuses on his behalf tend to disappear when people see how dumb his actual statements were

Because one thing is wrong doesn't make the other right. Trump should have used due process. But he either belongs to, in some fashion MS13 or he claimed to. Democrats were wrong about him just being a regular snatched for no reason.

Nevermind, I don't care what Trump said. He's an idiot.

That doesn't have anything to do with what's written in my post......... Well I'll strike that. Because I edited and forgot to add back that it does not "literally" say MS13 but gang tattoos often don't.

"If you know how to read it then yes he's correct" no. He's not correct. I haven't seen a single person watch that video and come away saying, "yes, Trump is correct" because what he's saying is just transparently very stupid

Trump got caught in a journalism trap...1. the guy said it was symbols being interrupted and tried to move on quickly dismissing it...and Trump instead of attacking the interpretation part of the argument fell for it....it doesn't says ma 13 directly but when you see a swastika do you say they are not white supremist or Nazis because it doesn't spell it out directly or do you understand that's what it's to mean..

It's a dumb argument but it how the left agrues. They ignore the the word "literally" is used in common language and doesn't always mean definitionally literally...it the same argument they made about the release of Ashley's diary pages that had the watermark that made many here believe it was fake because the water mark were paid above the scanned copy.mmbut it didn't stop them from calling it fake..it's a sad argument when there is no legitimate argument left to be made

It wasn't a trap. If anything the journalist threw him a bone by saying they could be interpreted to mean that and he kept going "NO. NOT 'interpreted'. It said M, S, 1, 3." Not sure there's anything Trump could do that you wouldn't make a bad excuse for

These are foot soldiers, wearing "shock and Awe" ink meant to instill fear and intimidate, not business associates or mid or high level leaders.

You can't have the tattoo he had and walk around in the streets. That's a death sentence. They take that as stealing or disrespecting the brand.

Look at the details in some of the more decorated foot soldiers...... You'll see some common recurring themes similar to the tattoos In the Trump photo.

These are "lightly" inked gang members.

Trump fell for a dumb trap as the journalist tried to finish that fact he has been proven to be ms13 and got trump talking about the tattoos..and "literally" in a conversation can be used for exaggerating a point which is what Trump was doing to combat the dismissal by the journalist...but run with it...y'all do t have a lotta going to be you these days..Trump is dumb...you win
