Trump Ignores the Courts

I'm hearing it was an administrative warrant, not signed by a judge, and it's illegal to arrest a sitting judge for statutory offenses...so looks like the Trump admin is ****ing up yet again.

Harboring a fugitive is not a statutory offense. She is being criminally charged with two felonies.
It’s about time one of these judicial Karen’s got called to account. She thought she was bigger than the Federal government and could play stupid games with Federal agents. Now she gets her stupid prizes

Now they're arresting judges

you aren’t much of a lawyer are you? A judicial robe does not give one carte Blanche to commit crimes. If a judge were to rob or assault someone, would they not be arrested? Obstruction of Justice is an actual crime. Now she will get her day in court where she can show reasons why she did not commit the crime of which she is charged. The system is working just as it was meant to

Wonder what she did to obstruct the apprehension? I mean, if she hid the guy in a closet in her office and told agents she didn't know where he was, that's one thing.

If she entered an order in some way preventing his deportation, and that is the obstruction, then a whole lot of people in the FBI, top down, are going to have a huge problem on their hands.
She physically snuck him out through the jury room. The facts of the case are not in dispute have been confirmed by other court officials. This came after an angry confrontation in which she was seen screaming at immigration officials in the hallway.
Ain’t looking good for Judgie-Pooh

It likely was an administrative warrant, as the deportation process is an administrative, not judicial, process most of the time. (See, e.g., Obama’s 2.4 million administrative deportations.)

It is also totally legal to arrest a judge for statutory offenses. Judges often make the news for bribery, DWIs, or during prostitution stings. Those are all statutorily defined crimes.

If the judge did what she's accused of, do you think she should be charged with criminal offenses, and serve jail time if found guilty?

No she won't. Nothing ever happens

And away we go with the deporting of US citizens...... This is what a lack of due process leads to. This is only the beginning.
The deported mother chose to take her child with her...she had the option to allow the child to become a ward of the state...

Article says mom was deported, and she wanted to take her 2 year old, whom I presume she had legal custody over (it is not reported), with her.

Seems the two year old wasn’t “deported” without due process, the child was taken out of country by her mother when the mother was deported. The government does appear to have facilitated that at her request.

Keeping a child with her mother rather than separating the two seems the right thing to do, unless there is more to the story as reported.

Would love to see a source on the claim that you can’t arrest a judge for “statutory offenses”.

Statutory offenses just mean these are laws passed by legislators. It’s basically the only thing a judge should be arrested for

The robe just makes it doubly worse if you think about it. She's supposed to be preserving and administering justice.
