I feel like we lose a portal addition if Gainey gets another year like with Ledlum.

In old days would have made more sense for him to stay but these days it's all about the Benjamins. He knew he wasn't going to get much playing time and didn’t want to waste a year. He pops this year and he still has a couple of years left for that life changing money.

I’m not disagreeing with you but didn’t his dad play in the NBA for like a decade? If anyone could’ve been patient about money it should have been him

Idk what kind of money his Dad saved or was willing to give him. Google shows his Dad's Net worth is only somewhere between 3-6 million.
We've see guys this year get 3 million for one year.
Not saying he is going to necessarily be that guy to command that kind of money but in his head he may believe he has the potential.
In short, he's betting on himself.
Some part of me can't be too mad at him for being selfish in respect. College basketball has become purely business.

I'd probably be fine with it if I knew for a guaranteed fact he was going to be able to play.
Gainey could easily be a 15+ point a night guy if he had another year.
Plus, he plays that role off the bench so damn good.

I was seriously asking because I couldn't find a list to copy and paste. I did paste Gillespie's name for spelling from an article with him and Ament and it changed the font for everything I typed after. Which is why my last sentence was in a bigger font too, detective.

If you can find a list like that/in that order to prove I copy and pasted from a list I will not only delete my account but give you a hundred bucks.

Hey, I love this topic and i hope its ok if i respond. Its not a log-jam not close.. Let's say we get Darius Adams:

•Darius Adams is a true 2 "Shooting guard" Exactly who we NEED..
•Amari Evans is more versatile he can play the 2 & the 3. His strength, length & defensive versatility allows for that.
•Bishop Boswell in year 1 we already seen him play & guard 3 positions. He's the same measurements, height & build as a Mashack. So like Evans & Mashack - Boswell is not limited to the 2 either. He has that defensive versatility & strength. Mashack played as much as Boswell in his 1st year - look for rotation minutes in year 2.

It's really called positioneless basketball nowadays. So many players can guard & play multiple positions (versatility)

If you notice in my original unedited post I misspelled Okpara. I spelled it wrong when typing my list and I typed "OKAPARA" instead of Okpara. I have had a habit of typing it wrong all year.

Do you think the list I supposedly " copy and pasted" from also misspelled it? ( my bet is you don't answer that question, we'll see if I am right, tho)

If you really want to eat your words/see that I am telling the truth you
can go to the search list here and type in 'Okapara' with my username you will see I have been spelling it wrong all this last season, too. 😅

Meh...It's not. But I don't like to called a liar and I'm actually glad I have a habit of misspelling it because it proves these keystone cops are clueless.
BTW, It's was misspelled on my predictive toolbar that I use constantly when typing fast so that's why I made the same mistake over and over.
Just like I did with Florida/Flordia all year.
