True but also so many parents and handlers are also seeing a pay day no matter how big or small. Kids nowadays go to Major Universities for one main reason and it's not an education, it is to get a chance to play on Sunday. Many also see how few actually make it and figure they should get it while they can and as long as somebody will pay it they will take it and if somebody offers them more that's where they will go.....simple.

What’s really going to hurt is when fans start checking out because rosters change every year, and it feels more like free agency than college athletics. If schools and players aren’t careful, they’ll lose the very thing that made college sports profitable in the first place: fan loyalty. No fans = no money, plain and simple.

Eventually, the market will correct itself, but by then, the damage might be done.

I completely understand that Pittsburgh has a strong need for a QB, but I can't think of many worse examples of cultural fit than Sheadeur Sanders on the Pittsburgh Steelers. I don't see that happening.

Dang that hits close to home. I remember listening to him play on the radio when I was a kid. He could play. He also did not play for the money when he was a Volunteer. He is a true VFL. prayers for his family.
