GT, one of the few times in my life I liked the second version better than the first, Jeff Bridges just nailed that character and the young lady actress was worthy of her Oscar.

that's the need for a system like CKC's. Pissott is not that person though. Ha.

I would love to see us add one more who can create their own shot, and ideally shoot the 3... Wouldn't mind adding Judd, I am intrigued by Laila Phelia, not sure of her 3 ability, but she's a strong physical driver who can create her own shot... She wasn't really asked to shoot 3's at Texas, as they play more inside, but when at Michigan she was just okay at 3. But with the emphasis we place on 3's in our system I am sure she could do it..

Very interested to see who we would add... Fulwiley would be interesting addition, still haven't heard any traction between us and her... Judd could still be an option, I wonder if we reach out to Laila Phelia... I wish we could have got involved with Kneepkins..

KnoxNation / Jumper... any idea if we add another 1 or 2, if so who could we be involved with

LV‘s have a bunch of players that play the same style as Phelia but are already better at it. At some point they need to really zero in on needs for the last spot(s) and that should be a knock down 3 shooter imo. That has to be a priority given the nature of this system.

Jersey hasn’t shown out much in three years, but i do think that CKC’s system should play into her strengths. At Arkansas, she stood around too much. The constant movement at Tennessee will suit her game much better. Maybe she’ll get to develop her ball handling again.

The good news is that she won’t need to contribute anything more than she did at LSU, but she has a high ceiling, so if she starts to reach it, she will be kind of a unicorn. I’ve been intrigued by her since she was a freshman.

Fair enough, and I agree we still need the roles for knock down shooters, but not sure who we are involved with that fits that role... T'yana Todd made sense, but she's gone to OSU. Kneepkins is a great 3 point shooter but no traction there. Who else is out there we could land for shooter role..

one thing i learned from the past season and the players CKC brought in through the portal. we can pretty much toss the stat sheets from other schools. ALL of them minus Favor got way better at TN. i see no reason why that won't happen with this group who all have a ton of potential. good coaching goes a long way.

I've already said what I think.

She has not shown anything in 3 years to be rated highly. Frankly, she was a major disappointment at Arkansas and not much better at LSU. Putting up 18 points against a team of midgets shows nuthin. If Coach Caldwell can get her up to speed when two more seasoned coaches couldn't then I'll eat crow all day long...

Maybe we could get involved with Londynn Jones, from UCLA... she shot 35/36% her entire career with a decent amount of volume so she could excel as a shooter for us...

Moore is the fruit to be picked for a team needing 3P shooting, amongst those available. She had some epic games vs the LV’s btw. 8/12 from three alone in those games.

I do hope we’re talking with her. She torched us every single time. Both coaches, her best games were always AGAINST the lady vols. Would be great to see her have some FOR the lady vols haha

I’m sure it was mentioned previously but with Phelia hitting the portal that makes me thing Ashton Judd is headed to Texas.

Phelia is an awesome player but had a retinal detachment in one eye last summer. Depending on her vision she may or may not be useable.

She had a retinal detachment in one eye. If her vision was severely affected she may not be a very effective shooter anymore. Would be hard to adapt to suddenly having no depth perception.

I would love to land either of Iyana Moore (35% career from 3), or Ashton Judd (37% career from 3) both with good amount of volume. We know Judd is at least entertaining the possibility of here. which I would love. not sure if we have any traction with Moore. but outside of these two and Fulwiley, I couldn't really find any other obvious players I hope we add.
