We won on the last statement. Losing Dad was worth starting Merk. We won because we have a legit competition. Merk isn't leaving unless he loses to GMac.

A $1.2m depth piece when our other QB's are making less than $500k. I don't buy it, unless GMac is making more and may be the starter.

Maybe GMac & Merk are getting a raise and we've burned through what we saved off Nico.

between Heupel's offense a great OL, good RBs and great wrs, we can make an average QB into a superstar. Do we have all those other things?

I think the OL & TEs are gonna be great. A man says Desean Bishop is severely underrated. We have some stud wrs who just haven't seen the field yet, they may be very good. Add a superstar WR and we may end up getting Aguilar drafted.

We are fine outside of depth and snaps. The issue is if you bring in someone elite at WR it still seems to take time in this system. Look at Brazzel. That was why I liked the BYU kid cause he a return man too. Instant impact less risk on Boo.

I am certain they promised him to compete for the starting spot. If he wins it it means either he is good or Merk ain't ready. We will see. The whole country will be tuning in.

..Merk was making 40k until last week, can't imagine GMac was much higher if at all. Supposedly Merk got 100-200k raise last week, so he's still under $250k. Can't imagine GMac is anywhere near that. Aguilar is definitely more than a depth piece. You don't give him 1.2 to sit . Jmo

You're right, I thought Burris was a LB, but he is a Dlineman.
