Hoping Merk lights it up and proves he’s up to the challenge.

I'll be shocked if Aguilar isn't ouf starting QB. Merk is making less than 250 k and that's after his raise last week. And of course is asking for more after signing with Becks agent. ..not sure you give a guy 1.2 to ride the bench a year

I think a 1 yr guy doesn't hurt us with Merk, he wasn't planning on starting this year anyway. Gives him a year to develop and either take over next year or leave because GMac wins the job. I believe that's why he wasn't searching out a guy with multiple years, but I could be wrong.

between Heupel's offense a great OL, good RBs and great wrs, we can make an average QB into a superstar. Do we have all those other things?

I think the OL & TEs are gonna be great. A man says Desean Bishop is severely underrated. We have some stud wrs who just haven't seen the field yet, they may be very good. Add a superstar WR and we may end up getting Aguilar drafted.
