Altmyer is the definition of meh but we can win 8-9 games with him. CJH will scheme up some lay ups and if Altmyer can connect (unlike Nico) then we’ll be fine.

Defense has fallen off a mini hill.

- DBs banged up and our safeties are meh. Not sure how McCoy will hold up.
- DL lost a ton of solid contributors
- No clue about the LB
- Edge shouldn’t be much different since we have Josephs.

RBs will take a major step back on offense. I’d say we will see more of the same on the OL.


Definitely don’t think we’re hitting 10 wins this season.

7-8 wins in the regular season then a bowl win should be the realistic expectation this season.

Honestly, the most import thing for me this season is getting the RBs and WRs ready for following season.

I’ll basically never expect Heup not to win 10. If we fall short I won’t think it’s a failure or anything like that, I just believe in him to figure it out.

Unknowns aren’t always a bad thing. Maybe all of those units surprise us and the defense is better / similar to ‘24.

And each year we’ve had several wr’s get hurt! In ‘21 vjj and payton were hurt consistently, in ‘22 tillman was hurt most of the season, bru and thornton couldnt stay healthy. We are literally 1 injury from putting a walkon in the rotation, how is this not a problem?
