No. That one poster is freaking out because he was allegedly playing 2 on 2 for $1000 on IG live. And players were cussing (lol). Someone forgot to tell ZZ that Barnes doesn’t allow profanity.

Not freaking out...context matters. You have never seen a Vol under Barnes to act in any way similar to that on social media. Vol is a brand. And yes Zeigler curses but he don't act immature for the world to see acting like a punk like Freeman has been known to act. Zeigler has had composure & professionalism through his time, even when he could have been posting street like behavior. There's levels to this - and the pros are watching. Ja Morant is a great example of who I see Freeman trying to act like - not professional... Ja lost tons of money for his "street like behavior" and he deserved it.

Maybe not a fact that he is in the streets, but the mannerisms says a lot with how u portray yourself to the world in a 2v2 pickup game playing for a wad of cash. Tell me a Vol to go live doing that? Vol commits are held to a higher standard & not that immature on their social medias. A lot of growing up to do.

-Ament is likely a 25-30 minute player year 1 ... Freeman won't like getting 10-15 minutes.

Overall, it was a good move! I really like Boswells & Amaris versatility to guard multiple wing positions to come off the bench. I think Boswell can be a defensive boost off the bench who can guard 1-3 & primarily play off the ball. No "need" for Freeman when we land Ament!

FWIW, I still believe we have a good shot at getting Rice. Just a gut feeling, tho. I have nothing concrete in terms of sources or anything.

Yes, it is common sense & logical for anyone who know Hoops & recruiting trends under Barnes & the Vols... So as an avid fan especially of the off season & recruiting/putting a team together - in fact I've known this & lol... ohhh myyy look at what happened: we are not getting both! No suprise there it's simple... either way you should count it a blessing we didn't get Freeman! Did not fit from what I have seen, not at all. Every serious competitor has acted out in competition or post game, myself included. There's a big difference.

If VOLS players went live for 20+ minutes like the 4 LMU players with the title of the stream "2's for a band" playing for money & being vulgar - all of CBB would hear about it. Big News! The players are asked to use socials in a professional manner & there's definite boundaries while representing Vols. Don't believe me? that's fine

If you could read lips, you’d probably not watch a single Vols game. I can tell you now, we’ve had a lot of professional mfers on our team under Barnes - GW and ZZ may be the worst of them all and they’re probably the most unanimously lauded around here for being first class, great guys.

If we didn’t take guys that went far beyond profanity you’re comfy with, we wouldn’t have a team.

Also, don’t care if i’m being “negative” We haven’t had much other traction with other quality players. Can’t invest the time and resources into Rice and Freeman and let them go because of a 400k offer more than ours. Basilio was saying Barnes is all in for a final 4 run based on what he heard. Well it’s time to get real serious about that

Given we have back to back Elite 8s with our HOF coach, why not see the process play out before you start whining?
